Hey Parth! It's 04:30 AM in India and I couldn't sleep so I decided to give that Mock GRE test. Now I'm from a social sciences background and the only thing I remember about math is how much I hated it. I already had that 5 lb Manhattan prep book and when you register it online you get access to one free mock test of GRE. I gave the test grudgingly, tired as well, and sometimes skipping questions from a few topics I had no clue about (like I had forgotten about quadratic equations completely and also I had no clue about those coordinate geometry questions. If the reading comprehension was confusing the shit out of me, I left one question. Then when the data analysis came and I was having trouble with the histogram, I again left it). All in all, I gave the test in a very nonchalant and uncaring manner, but the questions I solved, I solved them with sincerity. I was done with almost all the sections in less than 15 minutes (that happens when you skip questions) and yet, I managed to get a 153 in Quant and 151 in Verbal. I had also given AWA but those results aren't evaluated by Manhattan. I am happy to realise that I managed to score 304 with LITERALLY no prep and a lot of exhaustion. I recommend people to just give the mock test and at least you'll realise that in which areas you're good. I know I have to improve a lot, but hey! These were my 2 cents! Thanks for the tips, Parth.

I took my preparation slow, thinking I'll be steadier that way. The only thing I have always been shit scared about is mocks. However, I have also started off with a few mocks. I have my exam in barely 10 days and the issue with me is not that my concepts are not clear, but the fact I panic. I panic because I am slow and I get slower because I panic. It is a vicious cycle that I haven't been able to get out off. I don't really know where I am going wrong in spite of having practised for such a long time. I'll try using your tips and tricks and hope I get a minimum of 300-310. Thanks :)
