Wow cool! I’ve started learning Japanese, but life got busy! 😢 But hoping that I will get back into it, and one day be able to go to Japan! And who know maybe one day you will be posting a teaching video! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for sharing your textbooks! 6 kanji per day seems a lot to me :D I'm still beginner level and we used different text books in language school, but it's exciting to see the structure of more advanced classes :)

hi jinni thanks for watching!! 6 kanji was doable to a certain point but i definitely can’t keep up at N1 level 😭

I liked the 完全マスター series too when I studied Japanese. I also was taking the JLPT. I’m working on Korean now and I miss the Japanese publishers so much. It’s so nice and structured and organized I felt confident even self studying. The Korean books seem like a mess in comparison. It might be me though.

i feel like if you have the discipline, language school is very very much like self studying LOL. i rely so much on italki to properly learn what i need to and that 1-on-1 time is so much more valuable to me!

As I’m thinking of a language school, I’ve got some knowledges about how a studying day goes in your school, so could u tell do your classes always go remotely? And also I’m interested in your studying schedule. Does it always go in the first half of a day or does it take the same number of lessons every day?
@ebifried Жыл бұрын
hey! so my class structure is mainly like this except when we have electives and some other short sections like pronunciation and writing. it’s not remote anymore! this was a while back when covid spiked up again 😅 my class is always from 9-12 every weekday but i know others at the same school will go from 1-4pm (which kinda sucks!)

how is the process of getting a visa to go to a language school? also do they cover costs or give you a stipend ?
@ebifried Жыл бұрын
if you apply to the school and they accept you, they help with visa and send you everything you need to apply yourself. i didn’t apply for any scholarship but there are some available! you can check out MEXT for example

for study i was on student visa :) if you join a language school like this, they sponsor it as part of the school fee

Hii! If it’s not too much to ask, which language schools would u suggest for a beginner? (I would like to study in a university directly after!)
@ebifried Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure because so didn’t go to a language school as a beginner! I think as long as you have native speakers and a good curriculum (which it should be easy to find for beginner) then it’s fine

she spoke so badly about Duolingo, it is a shame as it is a tool that got me to learn all from reading writing and speaking and now I live in japan .
@mermaidnott97138 ай бұрын
Duolingo is notoriously awful because they use google translate. I tried learning Japanese from it and when I went to text books over half of what I learned was wrong.
