What a fabulous video! My hair is coarse and thick. I hate blow drying it and can actually break out into a sweat. Love the roller trick and will try it. It might cut down on the styling time for me. What was so terrific was the bloopers. They said exactly how I feel about blow drying.

You look wonderful! I am getting my hair cut tomorrow, and I am showing this to my stylist. I have fine thin hair and it is between my shoulder blades. Way to long and stringy for 50! Wish me luck, but will bangs work with this style? I have deep forehead wrinkles, I like having chunky bangs to hide them.
@p49948 жыл бұрын
I wear my hair similar to yours, however bleaching has really damaged it. I have worn this same style as yours for the past 20 plus years, so i dont blowdry and let my hair get half dry then use the velcro rollers it is very soft, your videos are very good and i watch them all you are a very talented gal!

You'd be better off using a volume building mousse on your wet hair, blow dry as usual, then roll up using Kenra Volume 25 hair spray (it's a hair spray that is totally touchable and brush out and restyle the following day!!), blast with heat and then let fully cool. After that you can use Living Proof Amp2 on just the roots and figure comb. It's all touchable!! And, GREAT body and good hold!! Got2b Fat-Tastic mousse is wonderful but it's getting harder to find. Hope this helps. xo Susan/USA

I just started watching your videos this morning and I noticed right away that I loved your hairstyle. Luckily I saw this video. I'm not sure if you will see this comment, but if you do, I was wondering if you could give me more details on your cut. I've had a stacked graduated bob before, but your's seems to have better piecing in the front than mine. I don't know if I just didn't know how to make mine work, or if there are more details I need to give to my stylist. I have baby-fine thin hair like yours so I can see that the right cut can give it much more potential. I eventually just grew my hair longer but as I always do, I tend to want to change things after wearing my hair the same over a year. It's time now to decide what to do at my appointment the first week of March. Do you have any tips or suggestions for how I can communicate with my stylist to achieve your haircut? Thank you so much for your help. xoxo Elizabeth
@SugarPuffAndFluff8 жыл бұрын
+lillysgg Hi and welcome to my channel. You are in luck as I was having my hair done today and I asked my hairdresser how to describe my cut. Looking at your photo you would have to cut it a bit shorter (bob style) , shaped around my face and is layered all over, she does not layer my sides too much, because the hair there is so fine. I hope that helps, most of it is in the way I style it as well, if I just left it after washing it would be very flat. You could always show your hairdresser a video of me so she might get a better idea how to cut your hair. xoxoNisha

The finished look is beautiful. I'm curious, have you ever tried just doing a quick messy blow dry using your fingers, without using the round brushes or sectioning it off. And then putting it up in the velcro. That's what I do anyway, and it seems to go quicker and your arms don't get so tired. I love your little back comb trick before putting in the velcro and I'm going to try that Sebastian spray. Laurie

Nisha, I love the way your hair looks!!! My hair is the same texture and color (at least it is now!). I have pickup up some great tips from you!! One of my issues is I have several "cow-licks", including one right in the very back of my crown! I'm going to see how rolling it forward, they way you do your bangs, works... I'm also going to try and find the spray you are using... almost everything I have used, weights down my fine hair and makes it look greasy... I will let you know how this works!!!!! Thanks!

The orange pick, as you called it, is actually a perming comb. It's called a metal rag tail comb☺. Your volume comes from the brush and how yr blow drying it. The wider the round brush, the more volume you'll achieve. *Franchesca Terraza *creative artist hairstylist & etiquette professional for 24 years!💇💁☕🍽🍎⚘🕊 very nice tutorial👍(1 more tip. If you dry more angled towards your nose on top. You'll achieve more volume)

Hi Nisha, I wash and blow dry my hair once a week. My hair doesn't really get greasy. My hair is very long thick and dark. So blow drying really is a pain in the neck. I could leave it to dry naturally but would get a wet back, and it would go curly/wavy.. but not the kind of waves/curls that I want. I've recently started cutting it myself and was pleased with the results, I also cover my very patchy grey bits..if was even I'd go a nice light colour..but its not :-( I do so love your bloopers, you really are so funny, I could watch you all day.. you make me laugh so much. xx

I do the same thing but skip the first step of styling with a brush. I just dry my entire head upside down then use the spray gel with each section and use a dryer with a round brush then put in the roller and let it sit while I do my makeup. Still an ordeal!!!
