I'm so happy men started wearing beards again! 15 years ago when I was walking with my dad I was so kind of ashamed of that he was so old fashioned... Now I'm so proud of him 😂 and his beard 😅
@dantheman13374 жыл бұрын
I listened to him and just cut it at the base to length, no trimmers, just scissors and he is right. The hairs layer up so by the jawline you have many many hairs ontop of each other making it very dense. It also creates a fade in from the top. But you do need to blow dry it down or when you wake up it might be all pointed out like a hedgehog.
@nonmutualgroup19 күн бұрын
Thanks man it’s way fuller now.. I was super over combing and buttering 🙏🏾
@roughhandsco.77858 жыл бұрын
My beard is a super curly bastard who is stubborn like my grandfather. In length I'm around 7 inches or so, but to the all mighty curl it looks like a solid 4. If you didn't know I was talking about beards, that'd be hysterically awkward.
@iby9148 жыл бұрын
Have you tried a blow dryer?
@roughhandsco.77858 жыл бұрын
ibkillah Not for awhile, not because I don't believe it works. I just skip it and say "I'll give it a shot tomorrow". I will try it though here shortly. I'll keep ya posted!
@iby9148 жыл бұрын
Cool man. My beard is somewhat curly as well. When I use a blow dryer it sorts of fluffs it out but in a non curly way. Once I slap a bit of oil on it, than give it a brushing it looks pretty neat. Combs are great on a shorter beard but for longer beards they tend to make the beard curlier than it should be. Brushes however are ideal for longer beards.
@roughhandsco.77858 жыл бұрын
ibkillah Just used the dryer and a balm made local here. Definitely helped with the super curl. I'll try it as a routine. Maybe it'll keep it trained. Cheers brother!
@iby9148 жыл бұрын
Yeah man it's all about training the hairs. Actually, using a balm/wax is ideal for training hairs more so than oil as they keep the hair in that position for longer. However oil is a mainstay for its hydrating and moisturising properties. Oil is a beards best friend. Good luck bro, hope you get the beard you hope for and deserve.
@zares_fnx8 жыл бұрын
I think combing my curly beard while drying was my mistake. There were more flyaways after doing this and then I made next mistake - I trimmed these flyaways. And it wasn't only once...and then I realized, that my hairs from the bottom are much longer than they should be. So I had to trim them as well and shape, and I'm now at length from year ago... More text below: The worst in taming are sides, they're so curly that I don't know, if I should trim them a little or just comb. The rest of my beard is less curly, more wavy. Not washing every day is true, my beard looks waaay better after 2-3 days, but still, first day after the wash is the worst - hard to tame it. But I'm not sure about brushes. I stopped using them, because I think it made my beard very fluffy, bushy. A comb and hands are better option. But for the dead skins brushes are better, so I don't know what to do. Curly beards are hard to maintain :/ I'd rather like to have a straight beard. And straight hairs on the head, I have long wavy hairs, which are thin and I can't brush/comb them when they are dry, because I'd look like I was hit by a thunder :P

I have a beard like James Harden, it’s very curly and nappy. With this beard texture, you cannot brush it, so I end u picking it out to try and detangle it as much as i can. I use beard oil, 2in1 moisturizer and conditioner, beard balm, plus a shape up trim every 2 weeks and it still doesn’t tame it. This channel is new to me, but any ideas on how to straighten a curly and nappy beard would be a blessing! Thank you.

So I have a thick and curly beard but my moustache is really thin. I've been growing it out for about 7 months now and I love the look of my beard but my moustache just doesn't seem to be catching up with it. Could this be because I'm only 18 years old and my moustache will thicken more when I get older?

I have long beard but I have 1 problem that is on my face I have pimples and holes I am looking with that badly any suggestions? Plz sir
@They_drew_first_blood4 жыл бұрын
Have you tried to comb it down over your holes? Maybe get "Just for Men" beard dye. If you dye it, maybe a darker color on your face where the pimples and holes are? Also, maybe grow one side out where the holes are and comb just that one side over your pimples. Trim the rest of your beard, but don't trim the problem areas. Once you have the pimples covered, maybe use a very strong hair gel and apply it to that area to keep it down and it will look no different than the rest of your beard. Take the hair gel with you throughout the day and apply it when you need it. If you look on Amazon or in stores they sell extremely strong gel or other materials that come in a can, so you can just put it in your pocket.

I can probable answer that since i had the same issue. I don't comb my beard dry and only after the shower. Buy yourself Beard shampoo to get it nice clean, then use a beard softener( Softener will make a world of difference). After the shower, don't dry your beard totally, but leave it damp. Apply beard oil and beard balm, then comb it or brush it, then style it...whatever you prefer! That's the only way i can get a comb through my beard! Hopefully that helps...

The fact that you think his beard is naturally straight and doesn’t need to be touched is proof that his methods work though, right? This is like seeing a person who spends thousands of dollars on skin care and facial treatments and telling them that they have naturally good skin so you’re not gonna take their skincare advice.
