About how long does each lesson take?

With the Apologia course we use, most days take about 30 minutes (reading assignment/student notebook pages). There are study guides in the student notebook before each test which review the entire chapter so those sometimes take a little longer, but are great for studying for the exams. The labs vary. Some labs are meant to be done over a couple of days, observing changes etc. Dissections take the longest - maybe an hour each

@@mypracticallyimperfectlife That's good to hear. I saw another reviewer's video who said it took them 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day. But the student watched the online streaming. So maybe that's why it took so long. Thanks for responding.

Highly recommend Berean Builders for Chemistry! Dr Wile has a gift for writing about the subject in a way that makes it much easier for the student to follow and understand. My daughter is finishing it up this year and my current 9th grader will do the same course next year

@@mypracticallyimperfectlife have you done or looked at Berean Builders for Biology? So many recommend Berean Builders for Chemistry, but I haven't found much information on his Biology course.

Would my teen with special needs be able to do this curriculum? She hasn't had any upper level math yet. Thanks!!

Biology won’t require any upper level math. If she has any trouble with reading, she may find the amount of reading difficult unless you space out the assignments more so than the curriculum suggests.
