How I teach my husband Vietnamese

Hi all,
There are many ways to learn Vietnamese effectively. My most favorite way to help learners understand locals and speak like locals is through storytelling. Do you wonder how's it like?
Today my husband will help me in a role of a student. He has studied Vietnamese (by himself) for a while and his most favorite is learning with cat comic. So I decided to make one series about how I teach my husband Vietnamese. Hope you will find it useful!

He is doing pretty well. I am much more clueless than him. This is a helpful lesson. But to learn both north and south word variations just is too hard. It is easier to stay with one, IMO, until the language skills improve

he has been living in Vietnam for 7-8 years. Its hard to say how long he has been learning cause its on and off

I have been following your husband's channel to learn Russian! It will be interesting to learn some Vietnamese too!! May I ask, is Vietnamese mutually intelligible by any other language eg Lao or some Chinese dialect?

there are many words that have similar pronunciation, especially Chinese, but I dont think its mutually intelligible
