How I Test Big Drones: Sky Skopes MFD 5000 Heavy Lift Drone by Watts Innovations

Here's a typical testing procedure of one of my MFD 5000 custom heavy lift drones. This one is for our friends at SkySkopes. They just purchased their Phoenix Lidar Systems edition of this aircraft, specifically suited for LiDAR surveying applications.
After just moving back to Maryland from Florida, I haven't quite found a suitable field for flight tests, so we just popped this into a hover to ensure all flight systems were a go. Scouting for a field this week (assuming the snow stays away). Couldn't be happier with the result!

What would you say you charge to build a drone that could carry a payload of around 10lbs Fly for bout 20..25..minutes and flight range of about 2 miles?

Sorry Bobby didn't mean to be discouraging I just like rc helicopters and the reason I don't like "drones" is because all of the new regulations they have brought to the hobby.

The only way the RC Helicopter hobby has changed since the introduction of drones here in the USA is that you are now highly encouraged to register your aircraft with the FAA for $5 and put a sticker on the outside of the heli.
