satiety isnt about protein, high volume high nutriment low calori = never hungry not miss anything dont eat expensive animal corpse and secretion that clug your arteries and give you unessential amino acid, unessential toxic fat, and also avoid unessential toxic sugar! but why make nutrition simple when we can buy course to loose weight after eating junk! sadly we cannot out-exercise fat that is stuck in the blood. that we voluntarily put in!

Visually seeing what I've eaten has helped me make better decisions in my eating. I can enjoy "junk" but it's in smaller quantities. The third guardrail was too real for me. Pleasure - release - celebration sounded exactly like my approach to food. I also related to when Richa said that she'd eat the food served to her even if it wasn't as good--- I don't know if this is because we come from like-minded Asian cultures where food takes on a more socioeconomic value. But thank you for acknowledging those situations. I feel seen and less alone in my struggle with food.

I am doing pretty well with cravings because I have stopped demonizing foods. The hardest challenges for me are the breakroom at work and I needed to plan for acknowledging and managing the treats there which have different pulls upon me depending on susceptibility. If I am bored or struggling, their siren sound is louder. So I have learned to keep alternative foodstuffs in my drawer and to have a cup of coffee instead that I can sip for hours. If I do have a breakroom treat, I often cut it in half because it is sometimes just the first bite that satisfies and I am not obligated to finish the entire donut or cookie. That said, I am in a period of new self-observation because I am at a plateau. I need to form a fresh goal or strategy since the plateau is acting like maintenance. I have not ceased to track my intake and comply with my modest calorie deficit but, treating this neutrally like data and not responding with frustration, I can see there is a next step and I am working out what that is for me.

It made me think as if it's the last meal I'm having, so i usually made sure to fully stuff myself up. the tricks above really helped me especially the WATER trick. This trick had personally made me fuller before my meals and it casually even reduced my hunger when i was about to start my meal. Thank you so much. Whoever is seeing this I'm a 15yearold with an eating disorder, so instead of pressuring yourself and thinking that something is wrong with urself just try to first understand how ur food cravings and habits work and slowly try to change it. @@laundryclothes1582 IKR it's still hard for me as well, it's not a once and for all gone problem, even I sometimes can't control myself. what I do personally is drink water whenever I get the thought of eating, it's not a single glass but as much until I feel very full and that delays my hunger for a while since my stomach feels bloated and i feel irritated to eat or drink anything else. another tip is to always drink a big glass of water before a meal, and it reduces Ur craving {trust me it works} and i hope u actually eat some good food and don't pressure yourself into anything. give it some time, take regular breaks and continue this. I'm sure u will get a got better

This is so helpful and well explained. I've been using some speedbumps during meals. I drink a lot of water and also I like putting my hands away from the table while i'm chewing, or taking a little pause. It all seems to come to being mindful and present during meals. I will try asking myself what my intention behind eating is next time.
@littleowl22778 Жыл бұрын
A friendly reminder for those that have adhd, we naturally crave more high sugar foods as well as carbohydrates due to our brains needing more of the energy they provide our brains with. So be mindful that your "cravings" aren't always just boredom or emotional eating. It is your brain telling you, you need more energy throughout the day. Especially as us adhders do and oftenly can easily go through many hours/ all day without eating or drinking anything or both or very little, if we do "remember", for long enough to actually stop what we are doing and go eat + make a drink". Because annoyingly we really struggle with what should be basic automatic habitual routine/ carrying out completing tasks and reminding/remembering to do them a million times. Only getting two choices in my case and having to pick and choose which to do first based on how important it is and how long I've been leaving it. We have to actively and constantly think about doing everything that is a habit or mandatorily good for us and our health in all areas but especially when it comes to personal hygiene and getting enough fluids and food.

I felt that I am very experienced in dieting and can't learn anything new but at the same time idea of counting calories wasn't acceptable for me at all. I had strong believes that counting calories doesn't work and you really must focus on sport and eating only healthy food. Well, sometimes it works, but very slowly and any crisis causes regaining weight back immediately. The thing that really helped me is that I found so many fitness professionals on youtube without BS that said that only counting calories works and everything else doesn't. It one moment constant repeating calories in calories out mantra broke me and I surrendered and accepted the idea. I wanna say that repeating the right ideas in each video isn't pointless. I started hoarding food. Not to the point where I had fruit or perishable food rotting in my room. If I was given a bag of chips I would put it in my “snack box” and having a box full of snacks made me feel secure. I noticed that sometimes I’d eat snacks when out or at someones house because I wasn’t sure when I’d get to eat something sweet again. So if I wasn’t in the mood for something sweet I’d save it for later. And then when I was offered snacks/sweets I’d be more likely to decline because I could just have something from my snack box later if I felt like it (:

That's interesting. I, on the other hand, don't keep any sweets at home cos when the wolf hunger comes, I'd eat everything at once. It's like, I can't eat a half package of chips cos I know the other half is still there and I just can't go on without eating it. If there's nothing of this sort at home, I eat something else that doesn' t contain so many calories or I'll wait till the hunger goes away. I lost over 20kg this way. So even if we were full, my parents would still ask us to eat the remaining food on the table. Honestly I didn’t even know what being full feels like so I just keep on eating. Now that I am an adult, I have a hard time stopping myself from eating even if I am full. Subconsciously, I have this belief that I have to eat and finish everything on the table now. I’m slowly working on listening to my body and stop my self from trying to eat everything but old habits die hard.
