this is great similar thing i found is natural ingredients do help your hair the pharmacy shampoo processed is bad for hair, it helps to eat a lot of protein like fish rosemary, lavendar, bay leaves, and cloves i boil them and put the water in my hair with castor oil. and wash it with Mrs meyers dish soap. it has never been so nice so soft, thick, and manageable. ill get some aloe too, thank you.

When the front of a product says made with something but on the back that very ingredient you want is the last one, you’re are absolutely correct, skip that product and go get the one it’s says on the front of that product in it’s 100% natural state, and use it to make a DIY concoction with other natural things instead

You can also help with passive and low effort elements if you have the funds. Silk/satin pillow cases, bonnets, scrunchies. Another thing I feel like isn't mentioned enough is a shower filter to reduce the exposure to harsh chemicals like chlorine. Even if you don't have hard water, Like I don't, but I notice a very significant difference. My eyes would always burn after a shower every time and now they don't anymore.

I'm gonna tell you something, sis. First thing I heard you say that I ❤ is you're now using all natural products, some you're making for yourself. The products storewide are nothing but a bunch of chemicals that do nothing for our hair. I see women of color in droves leaving behind relaxers, for instance. Why would I mess with something that could give me or my daughter ovarian cancer? I now do DIY too. We need to stick with natural hair and non chem products. Heck, I don't even deal with wigs, weaves or extensions. I'm just gonna grow my hair!!! 😊😊😊😊

These are good tips to get my hair back healthy! I've neglected it and only wear it in a bun all the time. Now that my disgusting neighbors are finally moving out, I can't wait to wear my hair down again! My hair absorbs bad smells and their stinch would just go thru all the vents and it discouraged me to pamper my hair like I use to do and I know I've done some damage to it with all the constant washing!!! The only thing I did was make sure my ends were trimmed. But, this time around I think I want to cut it into a straight style instead if wearing it out natural like this. I use to wear it like this ALL THE TIME and I miss doing my hair!

GENETICS!!!!! Your genes play a role in just about every aspect of your appearance, from the precise shape of your nose, jawline and other facial features to your height, bone structure, skin tone and general body composition. Research also shows that genetic factors can affect numerous aspects of your hair, from texture and color to the size of your hair follicles and the thickness of your scalp hair.
@ASmith-jn7kf
@ASmith-jn7kf 9 ай бұрын
Well no one could prove that. You can't go through her whole family and measure their hair. In reality, all one can do is care for their hair and see what happens. If hair is breaking and thinning then something is wrong. How much hair can grow due to factors like genetics which you don't know is useless. You are just saying genetics because you want to believe there's nothing you can do. No genetics can overcome damaging hair practices.

Thanks for these tips. Your hair is beautiful. I have so many questions. 1. When you use the oil treatment (with cap overnight) in the morning are you rinsing out with ACV? Same with the Jamicia black seed oil? It's a lot of oils that your using, and are you rinsing every day? What the regime during the week?

Hi, Victoria! I'm Elena. I have a question for you. Whenever I try Rosemary oil my hair falls out in clumps and it's scary. So I stopped. I think maybe I was using it incorrectly. I mixed it half and half with coconut oil. Was that too much Rosemary? Should it just be a few drops to a larger amount of the carrier oil? I've seen so many videos where people recommend Rosemary oil but no one ever says the measurements. Hoping you see this comment and respond. Thank you! Beautiful hair, btw :)
@VictoriaVictoria
@VictoriaVictoria 11 ай бұрын
Hi Elena, I’m sorry to hear about your experience with rosemary oil. it sounds like you may have an allergy or you're using “for aroma only” vs therapeutic grade. Also be sure that it doesn’t contain alcohol - many essential oils are mixed with alcohol so you have to make sure to read the label. But overall if you’re still having a sensitivity to it you can try using the rosemary plant itself (which works well) or just skip it entirely if your body reacts to it in this way. 🤍

That was 100% too much. The dilution should be about 15- 30 drops (dependebt on the e.o. per 1 oz of carrier. Also be mindful of coconut oil because many people have issues with it. Try jojoba oil instead

For hair, they recommend 2% of essential oil.that is 50 drops in 100mls of carrier oil, and coconut oil has issues with many people. Try another carrier oil.Due to its goodness, you can reintroduce it slowly by mixing with another carrier oil. Yes you might be allergic to those oil but the mixing of 50% was too much.

Yep my hair was growing mid chest. I cornrowed and put crochet in. Now the front and top has broken. The sides have retained their length. So I’m not attaching anything for this year. Will wear wigs when I feel otherwise using twist for protective styling.

i've got a question, you said you oil and massage your hair every night , what do you do about the smell cause I don't really want my hair to smell like rosemary or tea tree the whole week. I wear my hair in a wash and go most of the time
@VictoriaVictoria
@VictoriaVictoria 10 ай бұрын
Hi, yes I apply and massage it at night and rinse+ cowash in the morning. The smell typically dissipates by morning unless you’re sleeping in a bonnet. Also be sure to only use about 4 drops of each oil with 2 ml do carrier oil. I wear mine in a wash and go daily as well. 🤍

This is absolutely wonderful, but what would you do for older gray hair that is thinning rapidly because the texture has changed and will not retain any moisture. I love your hair and I think this is excellent for course young heads, but what do you advice for us older ladies with shedding hair and male pattern balding?
