Hey Shawnta, Your hair is gorgeous. I can attest that the growth oil works. I’ve used the oil for about three years now with several hair cuts. My hair has grown back faster with the growth oil.
@why2874 Жыл бұрын
I think some people hair just grows faster, like some people fingernails. My niece will cut her hair above her shoulders and it’s mid back a little over 7 months, never fail. She doesn’t use products nor hair coloring just natural.
@confucius2833 Жыл бұрын
True. My nails have always grown so fast and long ever since I was a little kid. My hair however, that’s a different story. They say hair grows an average of 1/2” a month. However, my hair grows like .25” every 2 months. That’s how slow it grows. I would have to take vitamins in order to get .5” in those two months.
@MarieC806 Жыл бұрын
@@confucius2833You’re right that hair generally grows 1/2” per month. But, hair growth differs depending on your racial background. African hair has been found to grow at a slower rate, 1/3” per month. Different growth rate applies for Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic/Latino. You can review this study from The National Library of Medicine’s report “Hair Aging in Different Races and Ethnicities”

And that’s why. She doesn’t use products. Commercial products are damaging to the hair. It doesn’t nourish the hair. They put a tiny bit of shea butter in a conditioner and call it a luxury product and up the price. I alternate between thin clay washes and Indian Ayurvedic soap which is boiled shikakai, Amla, and reetha with a couple tbs of fenugreek seeds and sometimes I put a few tubs of dr bronners Castile soap and my hair is never dry anymore. It’s stronger, thicker and my scalp is never dry.

@@MarieC806 I'm Black and my hair has always grown 1/2 inch a month. That rate of growth applies to all races, blacks as well.

That’s true but If i do things to make my hair and nails grow they get longer way faster especially my nails . When I’m not doing anything the do not grow fast and the break of easily. Being vitamin deficient and not having a routine can slow your growth
@harrietgibson8652 Жыл бұрын
Please keep in mind that long, thick hair is hereditary as well as short thin hair. I never worry about the length just the healthiness of it. Speaking from a woman in my sixties what works for me may not work for you. Eating well, exercising is all good for your hair but genetics play a huge part on hair growth.

Hair growth rate, texture, density etc is genetics. However, retaining/ maintaining healthy hair strands is based on care. Every last person in my family has almost the same texture, either wavy, curly, spiral curly or super straight. Some with shoulder, bra strap, hip etc. unless they chose to cut it. However with that said, eventually if the hair wasn’t taken care of, the difference can be seen amongst the relatives. Same family, same rate of growth different hair care, diet, products hormones, vitamins or deficiencies etc. Not every product will work for every head of hair. Trial and error is the key. She has some great nuggets here!!!!! Definitely makes a difference!

I think it would be helpful if the before and after pictures showed your hair in the same state. So if the after pic is in a braid out, the before pic should also be in a braid out so we can see the growth better.

I think you're right Shawnta. Our bodies need to be regularly flushed. Our stomach's are the brains of our mid-section and if its clogged up it affects everything! Our skin, hair, cellulite, breath, energy. We don't realise!
