I absolutely love your setup. Planning on getting a trx this Black Friday. If it’s ok with you I may copy what you did as far as adding a top roof. I think your method looks best versus other methods like pvc and cloth methods, they work but yours looks the best imo. The speakers are an old 5.1 set from Logitech they are the Z-5300, not available anymore, but I'm looking to upgrade soon the Logitech Z9-506 5.1 System - geni.us/R4o043 The mounts are used are made by Trak Racer - trakracer.eu/collections/accessories/products/tr8-5-speaker-mount-upgrade-kit. The car models I've been collecting for years most were bought at Local Hobby Shops or second hand on Ebay, they are made by AUTOart and Spark. Yes 100% agreed this is an earlier video I’ve since upgraded to a proper microphone and audio setup, some of the earlier videos make me cringe lol wish there was a way to redo without completely removing from KZbin

Hey man, how do you like the Trak Racer seat? Is it comfy? Also, how do you like the Fanatec wheel? is it too small? Why did you buy that over the McLaren wheel? Lastly, where did you find the stickers/vinyl for your chair? I think its a cool why to make it unique.

Hey I like the seat but I have to admit after first using over a longer race it did become a bit uncomfortable since there is not a lot of padding in the seat, an easy fix was to purchase a seat cushion like this one - geni.us/T6Z6t9 and a back support like this one - geni.us/tJAPD it made a huge difference and now its comfortable for long races. This may be different for some of Trak Racers other seats I opted for the GT one. I bought the Formula wheel for specifically driving open wheel cars which for those is perfect and accurate. I went with this over the McLaren as I like using the PBME with turn racing wheel for GT3 style cars. I may still pick up the Mclaren wheel one day. I'm not able to share a photo here, but basically, all I did was a small "L" bracket of some sort. It was actually attached with a bolt and washer to my shift mount and then attached to one of the mounting holes on the torque off button, if that makes sense. It looks like it was mounted to the TR8 directly, but it's not. Join my Discord if you want, and I can try and share a picture if I can find one close up.

@@simracingden I think you should definitely have a look at the Asetek Invicta Pedals. They are inspired heavily by the design of real GT3 brakes and I would recommend to check out some video from Asetek where they explain their development process.

Watching this the second time. This rig looks so good. May i ask how you like the seat? And do you think i can cut the bars of the monitor stand 15-20 centimeters? Would conflict with my wall/sealing

I appreciate you taking the time to watch it again! Regarding the Trak Racer GT seat, I found it less comfortable than I'd like. I added a seat cushion and lumbar support as a remedy, which was a great help. As for cutting the bars, while it is a possible solution, I suspect it could compromise the structure's overall stability. Therefore, it might be worth exploring alternative monitor mount solutions. Mounts that attach directly to the cockpit could be more space-saving. Another viable option could be switching to a single ultra-wide setup. It's a compact solution that can still deliver an immersive experience. Hope this provides some helpful insight!

@@simracingden thx. I checked the website. I think its only 136cm. I have a slight sloping roof but this should fit. Ultra wide is nice but iI would like to use Tripple 32 inch. The info about the seat are very helpful. Dont want to overspend on an unconfy seat and dont want to buy twice. I might try the sparco Grid Q QRT or the r100. Hard to find seat reviews about lower price class.

Great setup! I have the Tr8pro with the integrated triple screen setup. I'm having trouble getting the monitor's perfectly aligned. Did you have this problem with the stand alone triple monitor stand? Are you using a different mounting bracket for the monitors or the ones that came with the stand? Anyhelp would be appreciated! Hey! Thanks for the sub and welcome! I actually used the same mounting bracket with the standalone triple monitor stand, and let me tell you, it took some serious time and patience to get everything aligned just right. Personally, I think the design of this stand could be better. It was all about figuring out the right positions for those arm joints to make sure everything lined up properly. I'm sorry I don't have a better solution for you, but I totally get your frustration. 😞
