Discovered your channel a couple days ago, I don't even play or have any interest in DayZ - but the gripping storytelling, as well as the calm and reflecting outlook you have on the game is very engaging and refreshing to watch! Keep doing you ^^

it's very easy to take for granted how good we got it in DayZ now. remember the days of breaking your leg if you look at a rock funny? very cool to see you sprinting around on the rocks without having to worry about kicking yourself in the side of your head with your own leg
@texasswade84532 жыл бұрын
I wish that they would make hypothermia an issue like it used to be. I remember when being wet was dangerous. You couldn’t get warm if you were wet. All stats, except blood, would drop substantially with wet clothing. Now, it is insignificant. It made water barriers truly a barrier. You’d have to put all of your clothes in a dry bag to swim a river. Matches wouldn’t work if they were damp. Making a lighter an imperative. A rain storm would force you to seek shelter. It made DayZ more of a survival game and less a Call of Duty game.

I found this channel yesterday. And I binge watched the whole lone wolf series and a good couple others. I don't have a PC or any experience with this kind of game, I just really like the concept. It's very similar to SCUM which I discovered first. But the intense story telling and your genuine nature has me hooked. And I found myself checking my feed today waiting for this episode.

Yea, Dayz started this genre pretty much, but it all began from a mod to Arma 2 (mil sim game). You can check out the mod version as well, it might look a little old for these days, but thanks to nostalgia and unic atmosphere, it will always be my favourite game.

The editing is really good from that guy, I will say this though. Something about your personal style of editing made each video feel epic and important. It is literally what got me into Dayz to begin with. You dont give yourself enough credit but I would bet there are many people that felt what i felt from your editing. Not saying you should do them again as I know progress is important, just want you to know you were great at it!

I went into this video ready to pick apart every edit, fade, and scene change. Once I got into the zone that you were in, Paul, I completely forgot about the edits and just enjoyed the adventure. A mark of a good editor is not being noticed at all. Your guy did a great job! I'm a nitpicker. The sound separation was spot on, with the soundtrack being well separated and volume controlled, whilst centring your vocal narrative just high enough above centre stage to be clear and well understood. Bravo to the editor if they have sound experience, it was perfect! If I may add an observation that I may have done differently, it's where you encountered those two blokes at the end of the tunnel. The instant where you spotted them (not fired upon, but spotted) an interesting choice I would have made, as an editor, would have been to add a deep orchestral bass drum to the first couple of moments; in order to break the tension and increase the adrenaline.and intensity of the scene. A very minor nitpick. But what do I know, I'm just a font in a KZbin comment. I seriously loved every minute Paul, and can't wait for the second part! Thanks for providing me years of enjoyment!

I think you should troll the trolls and start testing them. So in a few vids you have stated "How an 11,000 hour DayZ Player" even though you have 14,000 + hours in game....now start going backwards to confuse the hell out of them and get their moany rage up. Would be fun to read the comments. :D . By the time you reach "How a 1,000 hour DayZ Player accomplished something AMAZING" they will all be calling out "BS". "How can someone with only that amount of hours in the game be achieving stuff like this... you must be a hacker....blah blah blah blah!". Great vid by the way, and I love the music that Uncuepa puts in, it really adds to the tension etc.
