Hey GannJourneyman! New subscriber here. I'm an elliott wave trader, who primarily scalps really low timeframes (15s, 1m, 3m). I came across your content when researching fib arcs for swing positions, something I'm notoriously bad at executing. Can you provide any insight as to how you'd approach BTC today? The likely EW count is primary wave 5 is forming right now, meaning we haven't yet seen the high point. So where would you place your swing high and low, if the high isn't yet formed? Any insight you'd be willing to lend would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
@GannJourneyman3 жыл бұрын
Well there are other tools that you can use. Fib spirals, fib retracements, circles, price rotations, etc. to help find a spot for confluence. A probability marker if you will... It wont nail tops and bottoms but should get you close. I look for touch points along the way, as that helps to make sure you are on the right track.

@GannJourneyman3 жыл бұрын
Math constants sir 😊

Looks interesting, but to be completely honest, it just makes for good chart art and is of no real significance. There is no inherent predictive quality to this type of charting, just pure speculation....which does have it's place. The real predictive indicator that can truly help you understand the movement of market forces is volume. All indicators that I know of are nothing more than just that - indicating the influence of volume pressure, or lack thereof, upon the market. I have been trading for just over a year and have learned great things from the market, and this is the number one aspect that truly tells you when the market will move in either direction. My main indicators are volume, Gann square of 9, fib retracement, rsi and Wave Trend. Somebody may say, "Well, if volume is all you need, why do you use other indicators?" Because they show different aspects of volume character. I make bank! I, too, trade the daily due to the greater profit range. Nonetheless, good job on your finding
@GannJourneyman4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for checking out my video. It is not the only charting method I use, but rather another way to look for confluence. I use other indicators too for the same reason. Confluence. To me there is significance as prices touch certain levels, but as with art it is up to the viewer to make a judgement on it. I like your choice of indicators. I wish you much continued success in your trading!
@kennywood25424 жыл бұрын
You sound like someone who’s been trading a year ;) Talking about indicators and volume. I’ve been trading for 3 years I’m not going to give advice out like that anymore. I’ve lost and made more bank than anybody. What this man is doing on this video is pretty basic in terms of gann but obviously he knows a lot more. Theres a lot you can do with fib circles when you start measuring instead of template divisions. Hes not going to need any indicators to make bank if he’s got the math

I'm still not convinced this isn't all a waste of time. The accuracy seems to be about 50%. Why can't I just flip a coin?
@GannJourneyman3 жыл бұрын
I am not here to convince anyone of anything. Just sharing things I am learning along my journey. All I know is that the only thing that has never lied to me is math. It's only wrong if I solved it incorrectly. Math rules everything around us. From the heavenly movements, down to the growth structure of pine cones. There is more than just resistance arcs, it is merely a tool for a job. You can either use a handsaw or a circular saw to cut wood. It's all on how you approach it. Thank you for watching my video. :)

Are you kidding guys right? How can you even think this could really show some meaningful prediction? you must be crazy... This has nothing to do with some kind of advanced math, you just draw bunch of useless circles.. Of course at some intervals price values will fit into your theory, but that is nothing more than just pure coincidence. Even in this video you can see how the prices evolution doesn't add up with anything in your circles.. I personally believe fibonacci retracements are as useless as just random guessing what will market do..
