How I Use Antiques In My Studio

I've been acquiring antiques for many, many years. Not only as decor for our home, but to use in my Victorian Studio for organization and storage. I hope this inspires you to reuse anything - even when utilised for something entirely different to it's initial purpose!

Absolutely wonderful. I am currently painting my studio (AKA oldest child's former bedroom with a huge window for lovely light). We just picked up a sweet desk from our local Restore, and a month ago we found a Duncan Phyffe style table with two leaves for me to use as a cutting table and design table. I emptied out the room and gave away to unit that were "fake" wood. Your room is such an inspiration!

Oh Sylvie, thank you! Tawnee was watching one of many of her "cat videos" she takes over my desk nearly every morning to watch (at at times attempting to chase and catch) various items on the screen. This particular prey was a mouse-type cat toy if I remember correctly. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Thank you so much Lisa! I do love to organise - so I was especially stoked when I realised that Dy-o-la display perfectly fit my Copics! They were previously in a hand-made shelf so I am thrilled I could replace it with a true antique. Thanks as always for visiting!
