Every time I watch one of these videos I learn something new! I'm just going to assume that Replace References is a new-ish feature and that I haven't been working horribly inefficiently for the last eight years

Nope! It's been there since I started using Tableau in 2008.

Apologies if I missed it, but one thing to add... The most important thing, is to give credit to the original creator! (which can be done in the 'Inspiration' section in the visualisation details on Tableau Public)

Yeah, but the value of the video stems from the replacement. This happens a lot within companies where you have existing dashboards with new data sources.

Hi Andy, Perfect tutorial. I followed all the steps as mentioned. Dashboard is absolutely perfect except for one thing. The bar chart of top 10 manufacturers does not show the names although its available in the original dashboard. Can you guide?

I'm looking for an unpaid invoices tracking dashboard. Do you have a template that can help me, please?

This is really cool, provided the original creator has their viz set to allow the workbook to be downloaded. So many times, I find a cool viz I want to reverse engineer only to find PDF and PowerPoint as the only allowable download types 😭

Why do you have to speed up the video (remove pauses)? Is it because it's catered to Gen Z? It makes me really nervous as a viewer, like you are late for the meeting or something.
