I was a beauty school student when these black nets were the thing. Actually we made a knot in the middle of the long end of net to let us know where to use. That goes on the top of your head and you tie the ends at the bottom of the back of head. hope this helps.

It's not the colonoscopy that the a problem. You're out and never feel a thing. However, it's the prep that trips me up. I hate drinking all that damned yucky liquid in such a short period of time the day before. Bleeeeeech! But, I do it because it's that important - for everyone.

Watching you curl your hair threw me back to the sixties when I was a little girl. I used to sit and watch my older sister curl her hair with big rollers. I haven't set my hair in years. Stunning look! Well, you always look stunning. Bet the doctors were distracted, ha ha! But thank you for the reminder of the colonoscopy issue, it is wise to follow those programs and take the neccesary precautions, it might prevent something very bad. I'll try that hairstyle, I love hair rollers but do seldom take the time to use them. I'll also look out for a new hairnet, the one I'm using is old. VERY old! It is hard to fint a proper hair net here, but I'm sure amazon has a solution for that.

Looks fabulous! I’m about to try this later today but with the smoother rollers. The Velcro ones snag my hair terribly. And good luck with your “procedure” 😊 You’ll be ravishingly. After years of going the traditional route for this test, I had the non-invasive Colo-Guard last year. I’ll never go back!

@@kerrylou3 - Oh yes, peace of mind. So worth it as we get older. Last time, I had some issues with the prep, so the ColoGuard was recommended for me. I read up on it and gave it a go (as it were). Now, for the question I forgot - you’re getting your hair cut, as in “short” again??

OK, so my next video is going to show my hair curly and the length that it is now. I did indeed get my hair trimmed. I think I confused the poor guy, I told him I wanted to wear my hair in a ponytail still I wanted to wear it smoothed out, I wanted to hear it curly!! So long story short, it does look so much healthier and the shapes better, but most people will not even know I had it cut, so anti-climatic for my viewers I’m afraid 😂

HA!!! I have been doing almost exactly this for twenty years, using medium size smooth curlers on my long hair and using my economical Conair dryer brush. This makes my hair shiny and flowing, and I've always got compliments. I leave it up a while and take it down at the last minute. But for my purposes I don't tease or use hair spray as I take out the rollers. This method really work for shiny hair! Actually, the Conair hair dryer brush has several short fine tooth combs running down the barrel rather than bristles, and it silkens and smooths my hair much better. Because of the short teeth, my long hair can be rolled all the way and held, then unrolled off the brush without tangling. You can also easily turn off the brush, hold it a moment, then unroll it. Sometime I use high to dry the section, then low to better smooth the cuticle, and often brush each piece with a round brush to smooth it even more before rolling onto each smooth roller.

Thanks so much! Yes you have to be very careful that you choose the right ones for your hair type. They have ones called magnetic that might be right for you. They can be a bit slippery but if you use one small clip on either end they should stay in, especially with a hairnet! 💕. All the best to you!
