OMG thank you guys. You're all just generous and awesome. I'd stack things up in Reformer Pro and Weaponiser but I can see how efficient it can all be on Kontakt. Thank you!

I literally use Kontakt on every project. It is so powerful for simple tasks, but can also handle the complicated stuff. Just depends on how much time you want to spend learning the software.

There's also other samplers to use for sound design like MachFive, UVI Falcon, Izotope Iris, etc. You could also use an old school samplers like Kurzweil, E-MU, Roland, etc.
@AftertouchAudio Жыл бұрын
Samplers are samplers, they are awesome tools to use to help speed up your work flow. I personally just us Kontakt and UVI as I know them the best but really any sampler is a good sampler

quick question. At 2:17 why did you do round robin and then cycle random. Why not just cycle random. Idk what the round robin is doing it seems contradictory to be able to add multiple of those.
@AftertouchAudio2 жыл бұрын
Round Robin just gives the group the ability to cycle through groups, then turn on random so it is not a constant cycle through the same set of samples (1-2-3-4-5-6) vs (1-4-6-8-2-3-7-5-4--5-2-4-6-9-7)

hi tyler,thank you for your vedio.can you recommend kontakt libs you use? i know kontakt with it virtual instrument, play well in music production.But so many instrument that i don't know which ones to download(I have limited hard drive space),so please recommend some libs that you use in your workflow,thank you very much.
@AftertouchAudio Жыл бұрын
Edward Foley I use a lot, 8Dios Hybrid Tools I use quite a bit, and there are a few other cinematic libraries like Hans Zimmer Drums, & Damage I use to beef up my sound designs. With all that being said though I mainly use Kontakt as a sampler and I use my own samples with it (similar to how I did in this video).
@upstony2861 Жыл бұрын
@@AftertouchAudio Thanks again for replying to the comments,thanks for sharing. Ableton live's sampler does not seem to be able to achieve such a function. I have been looking for your method of processing, which is very useful.
