I recently bought an Instax mini 90 myself and already watched a lot of videos about it, but yours is by far the best one! It's really obvious that you have a lot of experience with the camera! Also I really liked the examples you showed for the different modes :)

Thank you so much for the tip about how exposure compensation is used for getting a particular look/aesthetic instead of for getting the "correct" exposure! I've always had to use it on DSLRs because the metering is often a little off from what I want from a scene, but your tip has just confirmed that it's safe to have a little more faith in the mini 90's unmodified metering (i.e. to fight the urge to use Darken/Lighten). Just today I took a pic without any exposure compensation and it turned out perfectly exposed. Fantastically informative and inspiring video!

I made the same mistake with the double timer once!!! The second picture I captured was pretty cool though since I captured two of my friends who didn't move after the first picture :P

I got the Mini 70 because it's basically the 90 minus some features. I'm thinking of getting the 90 to keep as my "serious" camera and the 70 for going to bars and parties and such.

I have a question about the flash. Does the flash automatically adjust to the light situation outside? I have the instax mini 8 and there you can choose the brightness of the flash and on the instax mini 90 there is either flash and no flash... And no brighter or darker flash... Thank you for the awesome review :)

in the video you talked about how you went to different cities. have you even flown with undeveloped film? I've heard that the xrays at the airport can ruin film. I was just wondering on how you traveled with film

I have flown with undeveloped film in my carry on bag as well as in a check in bag and it has always been fine! I think it effects rolled film more than instant film because of the foil wrapper it comes in. I had heard that before as well but I have never had any trouble :)

@@HoLeeChit11 that is not true. X-rays can most assuredly ruin instax film. But the treshhold is 2x through an x-ray machine before you start seeing the effects .

I have bought the majority of my film from Passion Gadgets which is a shop in Singapore and it is the right Fujifilm one. I don't know if you can order online to deliver to wherever you live but I'm not sure if it'll totally be worth it when you count in shipping! Where do you buy film for the best price and how do you make your picture black and white

I used to buy my film for a great price from a place in Singapore called PassionGadgets, my dad used to work there and we visited sometimes so thats how I used to get it. In order to have a black and white picture you would need to buy the new Monochrome film for the camera :)
