tip - Don't get the magic keyboard its expensive yes it works but if you wanna use your iPad as a normal iPad then u risk breaking it, instead go and buy the logitech combo touch for your iPad its cheaper you can remove the keyboard to use your iPad normally, it has a fabric case design thing its just better than the magic keyboard the keyboard btw is the same as the magic keyboard with a few extra features I think.

hi alyssa! i know you were asking julia but i also wanted to give you my input on ur question. I have both and i definitely recommend the laptop for a college student. Its way more convenient and will last you years even in your actual career goal ( outside of college ) it will remain useful. But! they are pretty expensive and you can also make an ipad a great resource for college, it also really depends if u are more of a hands on person which would be perfect for a ipad or more of a observant - laid kinda person which is more suitable for a laptop. i hope this helps!

Hey Julia, first of all thank you for always making sure that the content you're making is executed to its highest quality ever, just know that we appreciated it... I was wondering if 64gb its enough for an ipad5 for note taking only, I already have my MacBook so it won't be like my primary device, I will only use it for notetaking and iCloud files for like 5 years (like I would use it just exactly as you are using it right now, exactly) , I don't want to be worrying about space but I also think that 200 usd is a lot, please help...

From what I've seen you can now create 3 notebooks for free. I've had Goodnotes for a few years now, so I've always had the paid version. Its definitely worth the cost though!
