Hello, do you have any videos on how to set up lesson plans with classes that alternate every other week? Particularly with the new platform?

Hi I love your video! Is this available with Canadian standards - I have looked everywhere and I don't see an answer to my question.

I heard of Planbook. $15 for the year isn’t bad at all. I don’t think the standards align with Ontario curriculum though (where I live). Still a handy tool though. 😄👍🏾

That stinks! I’ve only looked to see the Florida standards, but it is definitely easy to plan and keeps me very accountable. I love using it. Thank you for watching 😊

How detailed do lesson plans need to be? I am a second year resource teacher that has really been struggling with this?
@Momentswith_mel

Katie Keitges Hi! I honestly don’t make my lessons very detailed. I just put the standard I am focusing on and what activity we are doing. I know each state and district are different. I try to keep it simple because it is easy to fall behind in lesson plans and the easier they are for me to write, I stay on top of them!

How do you stay motivated in teaching special education?
@Momentswith_mel

Katie Keitges I enjoy seeing my students make progress. I have some students in 5th grade who are reading on a K/1 reading level. Seeing them read more makes my heart so happy. I have some students who can’t multiply or even don’t know their numbers! Just seeing small progress gives me hope and makes all the stress of the job worth it.
