Yessir you can, you can use a suction cup mount on any surface on the car that is smooth and mostly flat 👍

Do you use a external mic for the exhaust sounds ,if yes wich one or is the internal mic good enough

@Pawninng why when I mount my camera in a race car I attach the camera to the roll cage or interior roof the footage will not remain stabilised and will keep rotating on its axis. Even after calibrating the gyro repeatedly the footage is unusable. Any suggestions?

Nice video. I have one and it has changed my whole perspective on 360, maybe do a video on how you use the app. The magic with this device is in post. I would love to see how you make use of the app.

How’s the raw audio with it outside the car driving highways speeds though? My buddy has one and it’s awful with wind noise and exhaust notes. I use a GoPro max a lot and I’d like to give insta 360 a fair chance

I have the one r, and its kind of annoying sometimes. Like how you cant just take the 360 footage off, because it kills the quality when you render it on the app and send it to the memory card. Great camera but definitely needs some updates

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this video. I have a insta360 and your video has pushed me to finally get it on my Range Rover. I loved the way you said.... "Please don't fall off!!!" Going to give this a go. What speed were you going at the end where you put the camera on the front. Loved the rotation from front to drivers view.

Hey sorry for the delay seeing this! Hope your filming with the new camera is going well! Thanks for the love on my work! The fastest I've gone with the camera on a single suction cup mount is no more than 70mph, but I've used a single fat gecko mount with just the camera on it (no stick) and seen it stay on at 135mph. Not saying you should test it for speed but for the safest setup with a selfie stick I recommend using a triple suction cup mount to have the most rigid setup when using the selfie stick. Hope this info helps!

Great footage! Question, has it ever come off? I used mine on a side street, just for safety reasons, and it came off! Lucky there were no cars behind me to run it over. It was mounted on body. But I mounted another, and it never moved. But, I mounted on a 4Runner.
@christianfuhrmann56472 жыл бұрын
If you use the suction cup, they prefer you to use it on a clean glass surface. If you don't want to and put it on the paint, make sure it's as clean and flat as possible.

Hey mate, great video and review :) just wondering do you have to use their specific selfie stick to get the invisible selfie stick feature? or can you use any? i've already got some car rigs and heaps of stands and monopods so if i can use them i will, cheers!
@Pawinning3 жыл бұрын
Hey! So as long as the selfie stick is the same or thinner than the thickness of the Insta360 cam body, I’ve found that the camera seems to hide it well. But ofc it’s nearly impossible to hide the mounting suction cup but a little bit of rotoscoping can get that out if you really want a clean looking shot on a car.

Nice video and straight to the point. 2 questions for you; 1.) Have you thought of getting a clamp ball-head mount attached to a selfie stick on a separate suction cup mount to support the one x2 on the selfie stick so it doesn't wobble? 2.) since this video have you gotten a 3 cup suction mount and tested how fast you can go without the camera falling off?

Hey Brother, stumbled across your channel trying to understand the whole 360 degree camera shots, for driving, etc... And, it seems I'm your brother from another mother... my channel is like yours, but for Classic Muscle cars. I too have a Mechanical Engineering degree, and my first project cars were a 95 Supercharged GSR, and a 2002 E46 M3... anyway, can you point me to one of your videos where you shot a car show? I've been using my gopros, and to your point, if you're not lined up right, you just wasted an hour. New sub here. See ya!

nice video but the music is super annoying when trying to listen to you talk. I suggest either lower it much more or take it out completely. Don't need the music when you are talking to the viewers, is more distracting than enjoying

Great video from what looks like my old stomp'in grounds, Boston. But you don't have the proper accent. You said "Car" instead of "Kah"...haha!!! Was sure the tunnel would be a shot, and there it was. Does it still leak? Have a new Insta360 one X2 on order so trying to get up to speed. Lots of my videos are automotive and some motorcycles. This was very helpful. THANKS!!
