What iPad GB should I buy? For design purposes.
@zinolequy3 жыл бұрын
I took the 256GB, system + Adobe creative cloud apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) take a lot of space. This all will be about 50GB. It’s better to invest a little more, because once you get the 128GB, you will not be able to upgrade it. But that’s my opinion

Which one do you prefer? 11” iPad or 12.9” iPad and also would you prefer iPad with magic keyboard or with separate mouse as I’ve seen most of people using separate mouse with their laptops

Great content. :) How do you decide which app to use between vectornator and affinity designer ? I have both as well as procreate and I find it difficult to choose lol
@willpatersondesign4 жыл бұрын
Vectornator is easier for me to use as I’m mainly using vectornator and procreate - find an app you’re comfortable with and use it! Vectornator is free too - so that’s a great bonus :)

12.9 is more like a small laptop screen... Do you need that extra space?// its more about the mentality of having that larger screen there. "bigger than a tablet size really"... Doesnt reeally feel like a portable on the go device as much. Its a small computer

Interesting video! I just got an iPad recently and I'm diving in with as much design content as I can find here on KZbin. Is the tracpad/mouse compatibility a software or hardware thing? By which I mean, is it an update to iOS that I can use on my new iPad 10.2", or is it only on the new iPad Pro?

Will - love your videos man. Been watching for some time! I recently got the new iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, it's amazing. However, I'm struggling to get it into my workflow. I still use Illustrator daily, but there isn't an app for that (yet, I hope). If you had to choose, regardless of affiliation or cost, Affinity Designer or Vectornator? As a logo designer who constantly utilises shapes to build logos, I'm torn on which is the best option.
@willpatersondesign4 жыл бұрын
I personally don't use Affinity. I have it but don't actively use it. I think if you're designing logos you should always goes with Vectornator. At the end of the day, it's all about whatever works best for you :)

@@willpatersondesign I appreciate the speedy reply! That's a good point, I think I'm going to have to try and create a few projects starting on the iPad and move them onto my desktop if needed instead of vice-versa. Thanks again man!

Amandeep Kumar Hi seems like your work flow is intense, so I would suggest a macbook pro i7. So it can handle the video editing and designing. If this is a hobby, than get the ipad pro 2020 and a smart keyboard. But I think a 13 inch macbook pro i7 with a budget ipad is a good setup for your work flow
