It surely is, not just for your physical health, which obviously helps. Combine it with a pleasant activity of yours (listening to podcasts, taking notes, overthinking, etc.) so that you look forward to it. I have also found that walking the same route every day leads to mindless walking, so I'm better focused on my thoughts.
