This is amazing will have to try it out still find it hard using tool for builds 😅 Also want to add for people worried about the recent hack its modthesims only get twistedMexi mods from their pateron and any other modders effected if they have a pateron get their mods from there not ModTheSims

As a console player, my fave thing about this mod (since I can’t use it) is that when I download builds with this mod, shrunken items stay shrunken (and other things like that). I expected when I downloaded things off the library for the things to be moved or reset in size but nope they’re not :)

I use TOOL alot! One of my favorite features was changing the color of lights in build mode by holding shift and clicking the light. But it seems that feature isnt working now how it used to 😭😭

One VERY IMPORTANT THING TO KEEP IN MIND folks is how SIM ANIMATIONS expect to be able to run can NOT BE impacted by you tinkering around with their environment - many animations DEMAND a certain amount of ROOM and routing patterns to be able to play correctly and I reckon a LOT of builds Ive been seeing people MAKE with this tool LOOK NEAT until you try turning some sims loose in them then the game seizes freezes and crashes big time so REMEMBER TO GIVE YOUR SIMS the room to operate THEY DEMAND - can't forget it's THEIR WORLD ultimately and they make the rules

I've not been able to get the "better build buy" to work (I install it the way it tells me to, then chastises me about not having installed it properly ...) but I'll give it one more chance =)

make sure you have the folder order correct! you have to unzip the download and then move the folder that says “Tmex-BetterBuildBuy” into your mod folder BUT DON’T RENAME IT OR PUT IT INTO ANOTHER FOLDER. if you rename it or put it inside an organization folder it won’t work and it will give you an error, it has to be just that folder in the root of your mod folder.

@@ellespoonies Yeah, that's *exactly* what I did. It was the folder, the same name, and directly in the root. I think it might've been something around the L&D expansion/patch that it was fussing over--I got it to work finally today.

Not if you get from his Patreon. Only Mod the Sims was hacked

@@reynavaldez13They have their own website & Patreon and it’s recommended to only download from there, I believe they don’t use upload to anywhere else anymore bc those websites (it wasn’t Mod the Sims, it was TSR) kept breaching their contract by not updating the mods on the website appropriately so they kept getting SO MANY reports from players using old mods,
