Congratulations to the both of you. Its funny - remember....on my boat, you were critical on an actual impossible spark from an AED aside of a 3L oxigen supply bottle. Now you're riding electrical boats, with possible unstoppable burning capacity and absolute zero chance for any fire protection system. There are not even IMO or any other regulations in force for boats with Lithmuim Batteries. There are no solutions for the possible damage to the nature when burning (hydrofluoric acid in thousands of liters if they spray water to get the fire out....). I like new technologies - but we should be all a little bit more critical. Greetings from MY SISU....

At anchor it should be able to run on solar alone. That means, no generator noise, no generator running time, minimal at anchor running costs.

The thought of a nearly silent power boat that could sometimes be run with no fuel is great. Knowing that if you have a strong headwind and/or current you won't be able to move is not great.

@@SuperYachtCaptain What's the top speed of it in zero wind and current? The only speed spec I've found is the suggested cruise speed. When the the current and/or head wind exceeds it's capability you're stuck. While this is true for any power boat, the limitations of this one are much lower than most.

I like the idea of a silent engine, the noisy diesel engine in our sailing yacht can be very annoying. especially as it takes around 40 minutes from our mooring to clear the harbour. It would be nice if it was a little quicker. Cardinals I believe best described as points of the compass, shown as the way the triangles face, East points facing up and down, west points facing each other, north both points facing up, south both facing down.

@@SuperYachtCaptain To be precise I would need way more time that I'm ready to put in a YT comment but here's the short version: there's a brand new technology for solar powered ships that works it's called sails. Photovoltaic panels can make more energy than they cost as long as you use them properly starting with a good orientation, if you don't & add the cost of batteries & use some of the energy to move it around & most of the time use a generator to move it around & loose energy from the generator (compared to a shaft going to a propeller) you are left with a very weak useless boat no better for the environment good only for ignorant social media selfies. That solar panel could good on land, as is, it's a waist and a gimmick,
