As an American of Swiss German and Norwegian descent attending the Swedish Midsommar fest (my first) in NYC next month..Really happy I came across your channel and watched your Midsommar video! Most Americans are raised without remembering any of our ancestral traditions--its like being born with a hole in your heart---to grow up and live without ancestral traditions surrounded by capitalist values...Your videos and message warm my heart and are very inspiring. Many others in our generation feel this strong pulse like you do to make the changes necessary for the sake of our future generations. May true love still persist and old traditions grow stronger with every generation. Bless you and your beautiful family :)

My father was also an engineer after he completed his military service in Sweden before moving to the US where I was born. He was from a small village called Stocka near Hudiksvall where I spent many of my summers growing up at our summer house. Don’t fool yourself. Men leave . They come and go. Life happens. Go back to your career. Save your money. Whether it’s part time, or full time, do not quit your career. Things are always changing in the workplace. The longer your away the more you fall behind with the times and technology. Do it for yourself, your kids and your family. Children grow up and away. It comes back to you. Hopefully things will remain good for you and your marriage. Put the essentiale time in with your kids and husband , then go back part time maybe, but do not let go permanently. You must think of your future also.
