Couple of things to check before taking up any course: 1. Check the trainer's profile - why are they training (passion, full time job, job+trainer). That will tell you a lot of things 2. Check the projects being done - how different are they? Will they make your profile stand out? 3. What's the actual debugging support provided? That's critical when you start doing stuff 4. Do you resonate with the teaching style of trainer? Watch some of their videos if possible. Someone can be an expert on a subject, but teaching in a different ballgame. Teaching online/offline is another different.

This video is fantastic for anyone interested in DevOps. This video clearly explains how you cannot learn DevOps in four months or six months. Regardless of whether you have experience with other technologies, you have to spend 10 months to a year learning DevOps minimum. Otherwise, if you work in DevOps and learned it in 4/6 months, you don't even sleep properly because of the issues you face at work. It's great to see a video explaining proper guidance for DevOps learners like this one created by Savinder Ji, much appreciated,,

I saw some of your videos including this awesome video and liked them a lot. Now a small intro of myself. I am a self taught programmer with experience in JS and Python and a 18+ years experience of using Linux. My current role is of Senior Fullstack engineer. I started doing devops related tasks in my company since 2 to 3 years ago because of my experience with Linux. Now I am thinking of getting some professional certifications from the big guns of cloud like GCP, AWS and Azure and also CKA. My question is that is it the right time for me to pursue all of these certifications or should I focus on learning a bit more and then go for these certificates one by one. Also if you think it is the right time for me then which one should I try to get first. AWS is the one that I am most familiar with ATM but I am already enrolled in the Google certification challenge and will be getting a free voucher from them shortly for the PCA (professional cloud architect) exam. Currently the most challenging thing for me is to manage time for family, work and learning.
@savinderpuri3 ай бұрын
what cloud is your organisation working on? Do certification in that - so that it's easier to show your work in that area. I agree - managing time is not easy. However, if you explain to your wife and kids on what you're trying to do with the upskill etc., i'm sure they will understand. It's not perfect, buy you got to do what you got to do mate.

I can understand - life is tough. But you gotta slot it out for the final 2 sems... a lot depends on it my friend.

@@savinderpuri Ok sir. But can you recommend any devops course that might help ease it.

I watched your video and was impressed by your clear explanations. As a DevOps beginner, I found it to be a valuable resource for getting started. Your approach, which encourages active thinking and learning, was particularly insightful. I highly recommend this video to my friends and look forward to seeing more content like this.

Sir can you please mention exactly which Windows or Linux course I should purchase from udemy?
@savinderpuri5 ай бұрын
How does it matter? See the video again - it's not that a specific version is only required. It's learning, it's the thought process. Get the basics right.

Nopes, it's just that my editor took that image of Periodic table. Thanks for catching it - i'd missed it. If you listen to the commentary, I've mentioned that Periodic table is from Atomic. This is NOT a sponsored one! I'll be very clear if and when I sponsor something.
