Man I really wished I heard this advice back then!! I dropped the game for a bit because of life taking over and just being upset and not improving but it really is a learning curve! I appreciate all of the advice

I encourage you to give it another try! Improving at this game is tough and it's okay to get frustrated. Take the small wins and ull get better for sure 🙏

Sua's going to be incredibly popular Day 1 because of how she looks - we all know this - so my one bit of advice to new Sua players is to get used to Q. Landing Odyssey is going to be more critical than ever in 1.0, and it's an incredibly awkward skill to land for new players (awkward shape for aiming, small sweet spot and a fairly large delay before hitting) so you need to get used to landing the skill in the first place, then hitting the sweet spot so you can make landing Don Quixote (your E) a lot easier. This is something I had to learn quickly, on top of "don't be precious with hitting Q", especially in teams. Sometimes, just being a threat is enough to make people panic and land your Q. That aside, my biggest thing I wish I had when Early Access started was good, positive teammates. Learn and play with good friends who you can improve with; you don't deserve to play with anyone who blames you for everything - you need to learn, and it starts with knowing what you're doing well. 🧡

Awesome insight as always Jynx! Curious on your thoughts around what some of the top KR players said about her in the preview! If you haven't seen it they were saying that they weren't having much success playing her in dive Comps. They were playing her mostly as a peeler for carries playing backline in a support role.

@@itzLeviVT I didn't hear about this, no, is there anywhere I could find a VOD? Also, I'd wager it has a lot to do with her losing the stun on Q so she isn't really safe when she dashes in, since her E has some fairly decent recovery before you can act, even if you hit it - that usually gives high damage teams plenty of opportunity to dogpile her (if they don't just dodge the E entirely) or just ignore her, given she's now lacking on-demand CC that you could previously get by just being good at landing Q. I can definitely imagine she'll be doing a lot better as a reactive character, since R>Q is now an instant stun whenever, but I can't lie when I say I'm a little worried about her being an actual tangible threat unless you're putting her beside Magnus and Silvia or something, since she can barely hold people in place for too long. Maybe increasing her stun to 1 second from .75 now that she can't chain multiples without max CDR? 🤔 Sorry for the wall, but it was interesting to hear about this, thank you!

@OurJynx Vod was removed after live unfortunately but it was in Korean anyway. I was listening to HOA translate it. It seems that she will be more team reliant yea. Not sure how much she will be able to do on her own but her damage seems to he okay. Just survivability as a front liner is tough. The time to kill was way higher than it is now with fights going on for almost 30seconds at times. I think she will be pretty good in peel comments with yea a Silvia or a rozzi or someone that can do sustained damage with her.

My greatest struggle with this game atm is gather the items fast and understand where and what items I'm building for my character. I'm aware that is a map that shows "grades" of the items and you can manipulate rng of them (after 5th box you open you'll find the item you looking for) Even all of this, I'm feel I'm not fast enough xD

Speed comes with repetition. Some tricks you can do to help speed up getting your build: - When you spawn into game, go to the distribution closest to the hyperloop or your next zone - Only craft items when your inventory is full, or when your mobility skill is on cooldown - If you have an item like battery in your build, and your build goes factory, hospital. If you miss the battery in factory get it in your next zone. - Open boxes in the direction of where your going Hope this helps!

Objectively unlocked is better but its more personal preference! There's more advantages to playing unlocked. I personally play locked as well as a few other long term players!

Yep! If you like characters that attack through basic attacks Rios a pretty good choice! She helps learn positioning and staying at range!
