I’m kind of all 3 of them. I take notes that help my song, I can sit and write in one sitting but most of the time I just need to know what I’m trying to talk about then the ideas will start to come in. The beat also helps with the inspiration. Also I write on both my phone and paper. If I had to choose I’d say my phone just cause I take it everywhere with me plus I can find nonstop material on my phone. Sometimes I might lose paper or notes I’ve written then I can’t lost and have to remember what I wrote. But s/o to all songwriters and artist out there hustling working!!
