I'm a East coast dude myself, but that don't even matter. Hip hop is international. Every area has its own style and sound, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Making everybody's styles unique. We've needed Mount Westmore to be a thing for many moons, I'm just glad it has finally happened. All we need now is to add a DJ/producer to the group (my vote would be for either Quik or Daz), and also for there to be a Mount Eastmore, Mount Southmotr, etc.

I'm West Coast born and raised and since I started my Ministry, I've left secular rap and murder rap alone. But I HAD to play the Mount Westmore album because I grew up on Short, 40, Cube and Snoop. I was highly impressed by the lyrics and authenticity of the album. I heard a different side of the big homies. They spoke about the streets, God, politics, the industry, and women. There were some lyrics that I thought were excessive like the gun violence, and fornication when some of us have wives. So it seems like we were caught between trying to prove something to the younger generation, and give them game at the same time. I mean, Cube didn't even mention the Platinum Plan with Trump. Please don't get me wrong, this album was way better than Nas album by a long shot, and wasn't typical for any of the Westmores.. It was all the way outside the box for Sure. So from Min. Maurice A. Petty, the Official Black Jesus 2.0 of West Coast Rise Ministries, I give this album 5 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 hands on the strength of the West Coast. You can Pray, or don't pray at all.
