For someone who is introverted, she really made the big step of talking to a stranger let alone help them! So proud of her! 💜
@sergeandou98532 жыл бұрын
Most introverts have no problem to do the right thing. A lot of introverts even don't have a real problem with public speeches. Sometimes it's even easier to speak with complete strangers than with wellknown people. No strings attached and everything. I'm really getting tired of people, who put social awkwardness and anxiety in one bucket with just being introverted. It could be some kind of connection, but one thing doesn't mean by default the other one for sure.

Similar thing happened to me, i saw a young couple and their 2 children, german tourists, having a communication issue on my spanish speaking country, and even tho i just baaarely managed to chain german words here and there, i approached them and offered what little help i could give. The way their expression light up when i offered help was so moving! We managed to solve the issue rather quickly, and they were so relieved they even offered to pay me. Of course i refused. I will always remember this moment, not on a "gee im so good" way, but the feeling of being able to help someone in their time of need is so fulfilli g!

@Aikano92 ай бұрын
I’ve done that a few times, one of the many perks of being fluent in two languages, and conversational in two other languages. You switch back and forth without even realizing, even your thoughts randomly and seamlessly switch languages throughout the day. The one rather bothersome problem though, is that when speaking one language the perfect word pops into your mind, but in the wrong language. Often you don’t know, or there doesn’t even exist a translation for that word in the language you’re trying to communicate in, so you just stand there in silence looking confused for a solid 15 seconds trying to search for the word, before inevitably giving up.
