Great video but unfortunately I must point an error. The Mughals didn't come to India till the 15th century. In 11th century northern parts of India were invaded and conquered by a Persian dynasty which started Muslim rule in India and which was eventually conquered by the Mughals(really simplified version). Actually the persian Stan comes from sanskrit sthan which means place of. Eg. janma - sthan in Sanskrit means birth place or place of birth. Sanskrit and old persian is almost identical and during the Mahabharata times which was 7000 years ago, kings from parshwa or prersia and the kings of bharata which is india used to speak and communicate with each other without any prblms. Indus and Persian civilisations are sister civilisation so it’s not so much the mughals or the islamic conquerors who named us sthan but the old persians because again stan and sthan are same in Sanskrit and persian!

There were Hindu empires. Most of the empires shown here had Hinduism as the empire religion. All the flags were like Nepal's flag. Triangular and saffron in colour. Bharatvarsh is what we call our country has. Same in Nepal and among Hindus in S Asia or SE Asia. Hindu empires existed in SE Asia too. What united all these empires was Hinduism which was known as Sanatan Dharma or the eternal Dharma. It has no start date and no end date. even though divided into empires we were always one people from Philippines (Visaya) to Afghanistan (Gandhara - present day Kandahar). You could say like the EU, this was a union of Hindu empires. We were all one despite our immense diversity. Tibet was also very much in our sphere from Kailash Mansarovar being one of our main pilgrimage site in Tibet now. Chenghiz Khan of Mongol empire was also Hindu (pagan Mongol - sky god worshippers) and that's why even though he devastated islamic world, he left Hindu India alone. No muslim invaders didn't defend India. Hindus would've loved pagan Mongol intervention then, he would've destroyed the muslim invaders and freed the Hindus then. Hinduism is the only major Pagan religion left. It's not Abrahamic. We are the same as African traditional, Native american traditional, folk religions of east asia, and native siberians, European paganism, aboriginal australian native faith.
