9:50 here it's written "Socialist Moldova" maybe you know but when Moldova Was part of the USSR , people wrote Romanian words using the Cyrillic Alphabet (or Russian letters) and it was called the Moldovan language and they were learning Romanian also but as a "foreign" language, which in reality it's just the same language, Moldovan is just a dialect of Romanian. Why cyrillic? Well I guess that was part of the ussr Thing, back in the day there was the idea that Moldovan language is a separate language from Romanian, which is not true, it's just a dialect of Romanian, there are Moldovans In Romania too (next to the border) and they speak similarly how we speak, except that they don't Mix with Russian as we do, which by the way they were also learning Russian in 1980s during Ceaușescu times as it was communist in that time, but it was never part of the USSR, it was a sattelite state, plus it was 1980s the last decade of soviet Union, and they didn't have much time to asimilate Russian, Moldova on the other hand, became a soviet republic from 1940 until 1990, therefore it got enough time to assimilate.
