I've been fortunate to incorporate my CPP into my retirement strategy, and it has been a game-changer for securing my financial future. Diversifying your investments, including CPP, is key to building wealth over time. Big ups to everyone working hard trying to earn a living while building wealth. I’m 63 and my husband 65 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money,saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income.

Alright, speaking in general terms, investing requires a good amount of knowledge. That's why it's essential to have a solid support system like a financial counselor, especially when picking out assets. I've been working with Regina Louise Collaro, who is an investment advisor at a registered wealth management company. I can't recommend her enough; my financial journey has been fantastic thanks to her. She's quite well-known for her services, and she helped me achieve financial stability through investments. Now, I benefit from her passive income strategies every month. So, I'd strongly suggest finding a reliable investment advisor for yourself

Regina Louise Collaro is based in the United States and can work with anybody wherever they stay. If you would like more information on reaching her, you can conduct a search online.

personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does

Is that plus my disability payment?or is the cpp amount subtracted from my disability payment?
@thecppdisabilitychannel20483 жыл бұрын
Hi, Nick not sure what you mean. The CPP disability benefit amount is what you would get for CPP retirement plus a fixed payment amount to arrive at the final total.
@ThomasAndersonPhD2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this! You mention that the contribution amount is the amount that you would get for CPP retirement multiplied by 0.75. How is the CPP retirement amount calculated? If you are approved and the monthly payment amount is considerably lower than the average, could it be worthwhile to request a reappraisal of the amount? or is the amount fixed because of this formula? Is there any process for increasing the amount if it is low? Just pondering here: If the CPP retirement amount is calculated based on recent contributions, it seems like this would leave a person that gets disabled in a particularly rough spot if they are younger, were a student in recent years, or had lower income for other reasons. In other words, the people that start out the poorest would get the lowest CPP disability payments. Is that accurate?

People on cppd live in poverty...you become disabled by not your fault then expect to live on $1000 a month..then only allow to make $5800..Trudeau can you live on that?...I didn't choose to be disabled..it sucks!!!

Hi CPP Disability Channel Team, if I'm living in Germany and qualify for the CPP disability benefit under the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and Germany, would the calculation be similar or are there any differences (e.g. that the CPP fixed payment amount is not considered)?
@davidbrannen12333 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex this is a very tricky area and we recommend you speak directly with Service Canada. It would depend on which pension plan is primary and if you are getting CPP disability (with contribution from Germany's plan in background), or if you are getting the German Plan payment with contribution from CPP in background. If it is paid by Service Canada you would get the same CPP monthly payment and retroactive pay as anyone else. The credits from Germany would just be included in.

In British Columbia it's 4.95% + 0.30 = %5.25 from pensionable earnings.
