The more you understand what Roy's doing the funnier it gets. He and Johnny Cash were good friends. Folsom Prison Blues was Johnny's biggest hit and when Roy asked him if he could play with it Johnny was all for it. That stiff wiggly dance was a parody of Elvis Presley. Luther was Johnny Cash's lead band member, who wasn't there. The best song Roy made famous was Thank God and Greyhound. Greyhound is the largest interstate bus service in the US.

It is funny how he acts like he is lost at times, but that was part of his comedy act! One of the most talented men ever! He was equally good at the Banjo and the Violin. If you want to see how good he really was when he was serious about it. Check out his version of Malaguenia. I don't know how many times I have heard it , It still blows my socks off every time I hear it. I don't seem possible that a man could move his hands that fast and still not sour notes!!! Breathtaking!
