I have over 11 play throughs in Elden Ring, it's my favorite game in the world. I know what I'm talking about. My "magic" character wasn't useful in the slightest until I could give him enough stats to use decent spells... However, when you start the game with 0 stats, that means for over half the game you are going to be using a sword (even though you are magic class) because you literally have only the weakest spells until you can get enough stats to get boss killing spells... Do you understand now? I couldn't even beat the first few bosses without asking for friends to help because I was stuck in a magic class with very little ability to use magic yet. It's VERY different if you start off as a warrior type and then accumulate a bunch of stats and then change your class to the magic class and dump all kinds of stats into it. My current character has STR and INT maxed out but what I'm saying is starting the game on your first play through as a magic class means my ENTIRE FIRST play through was cruel and unusual.

People spend a lot of money on this game 😅 for me the $5 pass is very much within my budget and smooths out breakpoints for getting my favorite characters a lot. But I havent gotten anything besides passes. Once you go beyond the passes the rate of return is miniscule so the spending potential is effectively infinite. So he's right setting limits is a must.

​@@emanuele1358unlike Genshin, Honkai has 3 endgame dungeons, and 2 of them refresh every week, unlike Genshin which has one dungeon and it refreshes every 2 weeks. The other one is basically the abyss where you fight through 10 stages and there are a couple story bosses. The Simulated universe gives you plenty of useful materials just by playing it, and like i said, the points refresh weekly, so if you play normally theres always something to do.

Honestly I think I managed 18 hours on the tutorial/space station just clearing everything and reading all the lore, feeding a talking plant for a few days and keeping up with all the daily life drama on the station before getting the hidden gag ending (which only takes maybe 15 minutes to actually unlock, but can only experience once and can be missed; roll on a second server or youtube it if you want). After all that I went to the 2nd location/1st planet not only to find out you can easily go back- but that more and more stuff unlocks at the station as you go through the story. If nothing else, the boss music at the end of the 1st planet's major arc is insane in the moment, and even as the add more planets/stations in the future the extra stories that continue the plot of older ones are awesome as well.

I tried Honkai Star Rail back in April after rewatching this video. It has been 2 months, and I am still playing this game. I never Topaz, but I got Robin Firefly and Ruan Mei. For those who wonder Match 7th in Japanese is : 三 (3) 月 (month) 七 (7) 日 (day) which is pronounced Sangetsu Shichi-nichi but each kanji can be read differently and that's why : 三 (San) 月 (getsu) 七 (shichi) 日 (nichi) becomes 三 (Mi) 月 (tsuki) 七 (nano) 日 (ka).

Been playing this game since launch and it’s actually one of the most casual and fun games I’ve played lol. Once you finish the story and hit end game, it’s basically just a side game that doesn’t require more than 20-40 mins of your time (depending on what you’re doing that day). Also very F2P friendly considering it’s a Mihoyo game. I only ever buy the battle pass and daily gem thingy they have every month and still manage to pull at least a copy of the characters I want. Id recommend it if y’all like hot anime characters with a decent story. 🤷🏻‍♂️
