I've had Xbots try to tell me I'm dumb for choosing PlayStation over Xbox and my response is always to look at the releases. In less than 4 years Sonys released 2 Final Fantasy games (16 and Rebirth), Demons Souls, Returnal, Helldiver's 2, Spiderman 2, and Stellar Blade, there's more but those are mostly cross gen titles. Most of them sold well and even the ones that were considered financial disappointments were still critical success's regardless. Now let's look at Xboxs line up: Halo Infinite, Redfall, HiFi Rush, and Hellblade 2. With the exception of HiFi Rush which genuinely was a fantastic game (RIP Tango Gameworks 😢) every other game here either sold terribly, reviewed terribly, or both. Developers everywhere are deliberately passing on the Xbox for their games because 1. They don't want to deal with the Series S (a whole other can of worms) or 2. They don't want their games ending up on Gamepass because they know that will kill any chance of their games making money. This is exactly what happened with HiFi Rush, over 3 million people PLAYED it but hardly anyone actually BOUGHT it and now Tango Gameworks has been shut down. At that point I simply challenge them to refute anything I've explained without playing the "What about Sony?" game they love to play and they usually can't.
