Overall this is a very good organiser. I'm confused by why you place some of the cards where you do, though. I'd suggest the following changes if possible...? 1/ Move the town guard deck next to the event and buildings decks (where the battle goals currently are) since these are all used together during the outpost phase. 2/ Move the bless and curse cards next to the loot cards (where the random scenarios currently are. You can then use this tray to keep the bless, player curse, and monster curse decks organised during the scenario. 3/ Move battle goals next to the challenge cards (where the town guard and item blueprints currently are). 4/ Move the random scenarios cards, random items and random item blueprints to the hidden side section (where the bless and curse cards currently are) since these are accessed less frequently.

Satisfying video and looks good. I have my copy already and played scenario 1. Don’t have any add ons and it all fits in the box. But this is so clean, luxurious, easier to find things quickly. Glad the basic game itself is still tidy though! It came with a plastic organizer box for the little pieces, and bags for monsters

I’ve been putting this insert together and am largely impressed. However, there appears to me an annoying problem. Most of the big and small cards that were oriented horizontally in the standard plastic insert are now vertical and vice-versa. The cardboard dividers included with the game are now oriented the wrong way and don’t fit with your insert. Why didn’t you include replacement dividers oriented to fit your insert? It is impossible that you didn’t notice such a glaring problem when you were designing it. Or is there something I’m missing? This kit is not cheap and I wasn’t expecting to have to make my own customisations. Please explain your thinking on this.

Yes, we know about this issue! Of course, we try to cover all the important points in the design. But in this case, despite our best efforts, there was no better solution. By laying the card holders horizontally we would have lost a lot of space, which would have led to other kinds of "problems".

I had been thinking more about the tuck boxes as I like having them in the organiser I have for gloomhaven but now after seeing this im seriously considering if I would not prefer the monster box.

I love this whole setup, and had a great time building it, i was so impressed by the tolerances meaning we have used barely any glue since its cut to accurately and fits together firmly, and my players have been wowed by the character boxes and the lockable boxes with the hinged lid. the only bit i am getting stuck with is placing the monster cards in the monster box, most are fine but on tray 5 the middle row isnt quite big enough to fit cards, this is no problem for the imps as they all share a deck and it can go in the one that fits, but the vermlings, abael scout and city guards dont have space for their cards and that i know of nothing else that shares their deck, where do these fit?

Thank you for your kind words, we are glad you like our organizer! The cards shared in tray 5 are Imp, Scout, Priest and Guard. So each of these monsters has a larger container to hold the shared cards.

repling to myself because the edit isnt working, if anyone else is as dim as me, Scouts all share cards, so the abel, vermling and Algox scouts all go in the Algox tray, same with the priest types and imp types. 10/10 storage is perfect, i want laserox boxes for my other games

I've just assembled this insert (I got the tuck box version) and overall I am very happy! It looks amazing and organizing everything is really well done. I've got some feedback if it's welcome. It looks like a lot but it's absolutely not a game breaker for me. 1. Large Card Tray: The bottom small cards (beneath the plastic spliiter) have a chance of sliding out. There is nothing what holds them in place. 2. Large Card Tray: The holes are a bit too big. The cards won't fall through the holes but they can slide into them so they aren't in a nice position anymore. Maybe a chance of damaging the cards. 3. Large Card Tray: Additional dividers for the road/outpost events would be very nice. The one from the original box are sideways and don't make really sense for this card tray since you can't see them until you take the cards out of the tray. 4. Player Trays: The place where you put the initiave token is a bit awkward. It's not easy to reach because of the plastic lid. If it's a bit lower or there is a hole in the middle so you can reach it easier with your fingers would help. 5. Obstacle Box: The place with all the element tokens + round token has a hole in the side. A hole big enough to lose the round token. 6. Small Card Tray: Same as the large card tray. The left side of the box don't have any good dividers for how they are positioned. 7. Stat Card Tray: It looks like this tray is a really tiny bit too low. The monster stat cards can slide from the top out of the tray. 8. Stat Card Tray: There is no bag of gold in the game so this space isn't used at all.

Just got my Frostbox in! I plan on staining it (and going over any of the laser engravings with paint to make the details pop if necessary). Do you all recommend sanding the tiles before staining? Or if they are already sanded, do you know what grit they are sanded at?

I have an accordion style file I got from Office Max or Staples that works great. It’s so well organized that setup is a breeze.

Hey Jean, You can store the map tiles in the cardboard box in which the organizer arrives. This is how we try to reduce the number of unnecessary shipping boxes to be thrown away and protect the environment. Later on, this will also be included in the video.

The box for storing the map tiles is the same box used to store the organiser components during transit.

Dope insert. I have question on similiard topic. Does your big Gloomhaven insert fit sleeved cards? I have found plenty of posts which adress that the insert doesn't fit properly all the cards. I would like to improve my setup time.

Hi Jan, That's right, not all the cards will fit in the Gloom Box with sleeve. We usually recommend that if you play with sleeved cards, in this case, sleeved the ones you are currently using among the item cards.

The map tiles go into the cartboard box, the organizer came in. It has a text on top of it, which says: "Map Tiles". It should be really easy to store them inside there. If you have any other issues, please let us know and we are happy to help!
