Does the 3D printer accept aftermarket binder material or Is the binder material proprietory?

Hello Jesse - Binder Jet 3D printing is so flexible it can do both. Our metal binder jet machines are used to directly print metal components. Our sand 3D printers are used to make molds and cores for sandcastings of the metal parts. The core technology is the same - building the part with binder across a bed of powder layer by layer. The post-processing steps vary depending on the material, but ExOne customers use their machines to both print and cast parts.
