I have a zildjian 18" ride I have had for 30 years. My uncle had it for 10 before giving it to me. I love that ride so much! Just saying, my kit is a restored 1978 Pearl W-5 deluxe.

Zildjian has had the “secret formula” for making and casting B20 cymbals.. It has been a family secret for nearing 400 years. And it’s not just the Zildjian company. SABIAN was also founded by a Zildjian family member after a family fall out in the late 1970’s. Zildjian brothers split and then tried to one up each other with better craftsmanship and a better cymbal. They are the two best cymbol makers on the face of this earth.
