Sorry to nitpick but gender ratio at birth is not 50/50. With no interference, it's around 105 boys per 100 girls unless you have a cultural preference for boys kick in and you start seeing even more boys (China, India, and a handful of other places). Anyhow... I still got pleasure from your piece;)
