Great video! For some reason I always enjoy watching a boot build. I’ve been wearing my Builder Pros every day for two months now and they feel like a part of me. Best darn footwear I’ve ever worn. I actually look forward to putting them on in the morning. Keep up the great work, Nicks!

I literally JUST ordered a pair of Builder Pros I can’t tell you how excited I am to be able to purchase something of this quality and domestic make. I feel the craftsmanship of these boots is in keeping with the years and effort I’ve put into my trade (pipe fitting, welding and inspection) and I’m willing to pay the price for a product made by people who’ve taken the time to perfect skills just like my colleagues and I have, and more importantly, the excellent welders of today whose work I inspect. I’ve lived my entire adult life in boots to make a living from military service to the trades and for the last 6 years in inspection. I will be doing an unboxing on my channel.

My order timing was bad in 2020… between COVID shutdowns and delays in leather deliveries it took a solid six months for my try-boot ordered boots to arrive. It was worth the wait! Glad to hear Nick’s has survived and recovered from COVID-19!
@michaelcarney29753 жыл бұрын
Did you end up going a half size down from your branick or a full size down?
@johngrossbohlin75823 жыл бұрын
@@michaelcarney2975 Me, I went with my Branick size and got the medium arch. That left me about 7/8" of space ahead of the toes. I also had the last padded out next to the big toes to give more room. I'm often hiking, hunting, and cutting trees in very steep terrain and despite a snug fit and firmly lacing the boots my toes would get crunched. Using them on relatively flat ground and and working indoors hasn't been an issue at all. The big toe padding was done as I had calluses over an 1/8" thick on the sides of those toes. I think that these were the right decisions for me... I've got a pair of White's Outdoorsman boots that essentially have no arch due to the waterproof liner. They are in my Branick size too... again due to the terrain considerations. If you go with a high arch and don't have to deal with steep terrain Nick's recommendation of going a 1/2 size down would seem to be reasonable.

@Totemparadox3 жыл бұрын
I have Nicks Urban Loggers. The boots cost me 600 euro in Europe and they are better than I could have hoped. My main boots for years were Haix boots which are still fantastic in my opinion and are better in certain areas like being lighter and waterproof. However the Nicks feel more supportive, especially in the arch, the V100 sole is more grippy, they fit my narrow feet better than my Haix's and they're made 100% in the USA which has always been important to me. And the fact that they're resoleable and rebuildable means I will get more life out of a single pair of boots.
