@sunetesimuzici3 жыл бұрын
Actually, it depends on some factors. 1. where you source your meat from. Butchers and ethnic shops are usually cheaper than stores. Bulk-buying is also cheaper than retail stores. 2. compared to kibble, both cats and dogs eat less, because it's quality protein, and they use almost all of it. There's VERY little waste. The usual cat will poop every 2-4 days a dry poop and virtually odourless. An average cat will eat around 100 grams per day (3.5 oz). 3. being their natural food, what they evolved to eat, they'll be... healthy. No more kidney issues, no more diabetes, no more obesity and overall you will save on vet bills a lot more than anything else, plus your companion will have a much, much better life.

So the human digestive system has actually adapted to function better on cooked foods because we’ve been cooking for so long. The quest then is, have dogs been domesticated long enough for a similar adaptation to occur, and did selectively breeding dogs expedite or hinder that adaptation.
@elenadejesus74895 ай бұрын
Dog's digestive system is not geared towards eating kibble, canned. They still have a wolf's digestive system. Another thing is, if you give any vegetables or fruits, then you need to put that through a blender so it can be dijested easier. Dogs don't dijest whole veggies or fruits as easily as whole, raw meats, bones and organs.

You would need to get a grinder that can grind bones as well. The higher the number the stronger the grinder. I have a #22 weston grinder and should have gotten a stronger one. It grinds fish, chicken bones, pheasant, rabbit and any animal with lighter bones. It will not grind turkey, pork, deer, or beef bones because they are too dense. Now there are those that can grind anything such as the Hobart and others. They are cost prohibited because of price but they are the best. You need to put those monster grinders in the basement because of their size.
