@@viewintospace The only thing that threw me was the power ports. I was use to assigning the ports and the % of power (for the dew heater) like with the ASIAIR PRO. Not a big deal. Everything works flawlessly. I told Simon (Lewis) to tell ZWO to stop coming up with all of these new Innovations - I can’t afford it!

It is 2042. ZWO is presenting the ASI 2615 MC Air Pro Max XL. It costs 3999,- but has no real new features. It now has a USB D Port, but only after the Eastern World Union mandated it.

Dating yourself a bit! 😄After lugging my portable AM3/carbonfiber-tripod/Askar300/GuideScope/Guidecam/ASIAIR/2600mc-pro and assorted cables around Australia (from the US), I agree; there is a use case for this.

. To me trying to make this camera more like a Swiss Army knife is a mistake. if the camera needs servicing I've lost the ability to use the ASI air software. By using the camera version I've also lost all the wonderful power and data ports on the ASI air hardware. It just seems a perfect opportunity for Murphy's Law to reek havoc.

Very TedX! All in one. One thing breaks and your down. If it had a MTF of 5 years, I'd be onboard. I have a ASI2600MC pro standalone. I also have bortle 4 skies at home so don't have to re-cable much!
