Hey man don't worry about the clowns, who are criticizing the quality of your workmanship and the quality of the product you used. They don't know their ass from their elbows. Their just jealous because they have NO skills. Except for making rude comments about other people's work. And then they do a terrible job at that. I have a old sleigh bed that was built in 1865. Actually I have a set. The sleigh bed and the matching dresser. Which is made out of a real wood laminate. It's a beautiful blond wood. I don't know what kind of wood it is. But it's awesome. And for being how old it is, it shows NO wear and tear at all. Stupid people think, oh its a laminate it must be garbage and won't last. They couldn't be more wrong. Just like everything in life. If you take care of something, it will last for ever. The one thing that concerns me about your beautiful product. Is the weight. Shoot you got to have at least 50 pounds of metal in that thing. And it's got to weigh a ton. To where one person would have a hard time moving it into their house. Let alone a bedroom. Well with that said. I really enjoyed your video. And the process you used to achieve your goal. It's a fine piece of furniture. That will last for many decades, I'm sure. Take care.

Im much more of a light wood person and for this bed would love more of an ashy finish without the gloss. Another great idea would be to add some large pieces of contrast w/ a redwood or maple w/ a wood turning technique...
