In this episode we go behind the scenes with Phoenician Grinders! We head out to Mesa, Arizona to see what its like to make one of the best and highest quality weed grinders on the market today.
We met up with Drew the manufacturing manager and he gave us a quick walkthrough of the shop. It was extremely clean and really impressive what they could do with such a small team!
The Phoenician Grinder is a perfect example of getting what you pay for. We've had ours for over 4 years and approve of all the products made out of this shop. Hope you guys enjoyed today's episode of How Its Made.

A couple things i dont think were mentioned that really appealed to me. First, I have a large 4 piece that I've been using for 2 years and it's just as good today as day 1 and I smoke daily so i got some street cred with my comment. It is supreme quality in design. Powder coating will not scratch. A few key elements are its threadless so no keef can escape and affect operation like other threaded grinders. Phoenician uses powerful magnets with a beveled lip on the lid that fits super snug and will not come off unless you want it to. I tested it rigorously because that was an initial concern of mine. The screens are removable and are available in different microns that are held in by an allen bolt through the center and a notched ring machined for a snug fit for the screen to sit. The second, third and forth stages have locking notches as well, so still no threads all the way through. It will not open up on you with travel if you were concerned about that, as I was. Lastly, the design of the keef catcher is unique in the sense that it literally is a bowl shape with no corners so every bit of glorious droppings is effortlessly gathered and requires no cleaning whatsoever. Sorry for the big post but if you made it this far I just figured I'd address those things because they were my concerns because it's not cheap but I assure you it will be the last grinder you'll ever have to buy. Alright I'm done.

At least here in America, there are tons of people who are well off financially and want to support other like minded people who make quality products (especially in the cannabis market). I say this, as one myself, as I look over to my massive Phoenician grinder on my table. People will pay more for a quality product, and that's just the way it is. I am hyped to see these young bucks out there making quality products. Shout out from a fellow engineer and stoner.

@@lhmllr same, but after getting on the Phoenician train my keif collection has been sooo much better. Plus it is always wayy more smooth than my shit-tier china grinder that just lasted so long because I took good care of it cleaning it at least once a month. I literally only smoke top shelf so when I do use a grinder, I always have separate jars filled with the kief I collect from them so I can press it later. When I was using the china one, my kief was filled with plant matter and would clog up after like a week lol

@@TheDailySesh right now I have a diamond grind and it's doing a good job and has lasted me a few years now,it can really take a beating. If and when it fails me I will be purchasing a phoenician to put to the test.

I was thinking of getting a mortar and pestle for legitimate cooking herbs, like rosemary, thyme that I grow in my garden. Amazon and youtube sent me into this series of "herb" grinders, every single one of them are apparently for marijuana bud grinding. They're all beautiful. There's obviously a lot more potheads than real cooks in the US. My questions, does it work for regular herbs,. which may be harder leaf and seed than a marijuana bud.

Great question! I think believe bud has a different structure and texture than what you would be using for herbs. They're also generally smaller/ handheld size for personal use. So probably wouldn't be big enough for cooking. Would recommend to not use these for anything other than weed.
