I would love to have James back. He fell on the sword to protect the players and the club but the curupt AFL ( Demetriou ) wanted to burn us as much as they could. James wasn't a bad coach when you look at the numbers and take into account all the crap. Finals 1st year, reasonably good 2nd year but missed finals with a bad run home cause most of the team was out due to soft tissue injuries. 2013 got to finals again but the AFL decided to pull us out of the finals and put Carlton in our place. He was suspended throughout 2014 and in 2015 when he returned we had no players to work with. I dont think he will bring any internal baggage cause there are only 4 players left who were playing through the saga. Merrit, Heppel, Langford and Ham who's going. Only pressure will be from the outside and if he could turn things around quickly the knockers will shut up.
