I'm honestly neither. I definitely don’t have any hatred towards any pornstars or the fans though. But I just think that the job is still so popular and too glorified, and I’m concerned a bit many girls might not be aware of the dark side enough before going into it. I’m sure you've heard of 'AV強要問題’, right? (if you live in Japan.) Who knows? Many other issues might be still hidden. While there’re some women who got very successful and wealthy, I hear stories like some girls became mentally sickened or even committed suicides. Of course, women do have freedom to do anything they want. But I just hope that they get to know both positives and negatives before getting into it.

It sounds like it either needs to be more highly regulated, or completely deregulated. Honestly I don't think the Japanese people are capable of handling a deregulated porn industry. It seems very difficult for Japanese people to set boundaries and to say "No." and stick to it. If you can't do that, I can see the value in a highly regulated industry. Have porn stars considered unionizing or forming a mutual protection association? It definitely sounds like they could benefit from protection, both from the public, and from their own agents and employers.

Also how you react towards the people who you are interviewing you seem to be very respectful which I can fully respect in that regard. For the porn industry as a whole I can't really say that i'm for it or against it. There are both good as bad things on the entire story. For example, if porn wasn't around we wouldn't be using social media as it was the porn industry that thought that up. Same for VR and many other things for the computer industry on it's own, not even including all other topics that it covers. However on the other side you have people who abuse other people for pure greed. Of course it's to each person to decide what is good and what not. But I fear it's a necessary evil that humanity can't be without anymore. It isn't the oldest job market in the world for jokes and laughs. It helped along throughout the history so many things, both good as bad. It isn't so black and white as many people wish to see it.

I found kaho through trash taste and started watching her streams. I’m female, don’t know anything about JAV or even the porn industry in general, but I have to say kaho quickly became one of my favourites once I heard her speak about her experiences. She is such a wholesome person, an old-school otaku, super positive and intelligent, and i find that her unique insights on Japanese culture and social issues are extremely valuable. We all need to be re-educated on the fact that sex workers are only workers in the end of the day, and i really admire the fact that kaho is going in the right direction of giving more voice to japanese sex workers.

I like that her career (overall, not referring to just porn) has still been going well. I know in the US if a girl is a porn star, especially a high level one like Kaho, their career outside of porn is very difficult as they often get judged negatively for what they did. Its always a bit ironic. People who don't like someone being in porn are still judgemental of the person after they leave it. I'm curious if that is also the case in Japan? Is it easy for girls to move on from the Porn Industry in Japan to have a more "normal" career or do they often struggle to overcome the stigma. I assume many would leave that off a resume, but some, like Kaho who are easily identifiable can be recognized regardless and it could prevent them from being hired. I have seen reports in the US where a teacher was found out to have done porn in their past and was immediately fired, even though it wasn't something they did while they were a teacher, is that something that people have to deal with in Japan as well?

Kaho Shibuya, is a really interesting person, I have seen her in interviews with Gigguk and she had done a lot of things. She is not just an "exporn star". She mentioned something very interesting, about guys who insult and stalk her because they assume she is a slut. Regardless about your point of view of Porn and Prostitution, porn stars and prostitutes are also human, they deserve respect as such.

I really hope she finds what she is looking for, honestly, I'd hang out with her, I've seen some of her longer recent interviews, she's a really fun person. I do think it's going to be a hard ride, people still recognize her, she kind of has to embrace that part of her life, it's never going to go away (at least not any time soon, while she still is recognizable). Dating her, I will admit sounds really hard to do, it's going to take a special guy for her, there's so many obstacles to overcome, my guess is very likely she probably should aim for a foreigner that's more open than your average Japanese guy. Something about this interview and others I've seen, I feel like she is very lonely as a person, though that is only a guess of mine, I'm not judging. This is the first time I've heard her say she actually DIDN'T want to do porn, but felt pressured to do so and just made the best of it. Prior, with everything I've heard, I was under the impression she was just curious (kind of what she touched on a little in this interview). I'm glad she's exposing the industry. It's already a rough industry as it is when everything is voluntary, let alone to be put in the position Kaho was put in. I'm not against girls pursuing JAV, I just hope some girls find guidance from her book and can make a more informed decision. Even stuff like OnlyFans may be a better route.

As i actually think it was interesting interview and i really enjoyed that, still can not leave not commenting how she says it's not nice to be called names like slut by haters (and also remember especially outside japan, the only time normal people look for porn actress name is when they enjoy videos with her and simply want to look for more, this works for everything. Often only bored hater will go so far to write a review, or like here, write a bad comment in a place where she could see it - the question also is if they were aimimg for her to see or these were 'standard' hate comments under her videos) AND for sure the clothes she is wearing doesnt make it easier to 'not to judge'. Above that it did was interesting and i'm sure she could tell us more about how it really looks like. To be honest i feel like you should make a post before making such video asking for questions people would like you to ask the person you are going to interview, because i feel like you really didnt have much to ask... thankfuly there were stuff she wanted to talk about while, i''m sure' you could do more If she is speaking english, unless she did the book only for sake of telling girls in japan how it looks, maybe, with support, she could write english book too? Though i'm little worried if book is written from her perspective when she started working, and now stuff might look different... what's even worse for young girls, halfly because many girls decide to do this while in need for money, or just because it's easy money And for last It's cute you think its affected by japan's economics WHICH is bad by covid, i know it's a type of japanese opinion. (special type one, you can understand by way of saying it, often said explaining some facts without knowing anything at all, but saying it truly with belief - working with japanese too much to not catch this) But really japan was barerly affected by virus and it had minimal effect on it, the only real problem were olympics. Belive me, compared to usa and especially some countries in europe, japan has really nothing to talk about (which is also conntected to them being fast and effective against virus to stop it)
