I was lucky enough to have a friend in Southern California. We went to a taping of the tonight show. Jay drove past us in the parking lot after the show, waving to us from some convertible sports car as he drove by. Good times!

Agree. I didn't vote for Romney back when he ran, but I've since become a big fan of his and have NOTHING but respect for the man. I actually regret not voting for him... his running mate, Paul Ryan, was my congressional representative, and when i got into a fiscal issue with the Dept of Veterans Affairs, he pulled out all the stops and helped me. Joseph Elias Jay has been in the tv bisiness for decades. He has been doing this sort of thing for years through his KZbin channel. Given his background and the fact that this really us his true joy in life. This was a natural next step for him. I'm sure this show is only getting a fraction of the viewership of the tonight show. Sure, he is getting paid, but he does not need it. We are talking about a guy with 150+ cars, some of which are damn near priceless pieces of rolling art. He didn't need this show. He's just a retired guy who got bored and went back to what he knows best.
