You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Surround yourself with people doing better than you, you will find yourself doing better. A rule of every success book. Ok so I realize plenty of people watched this and thought..Wow ..so inspirational ..what a genius..hardworker..hustler..go getter...etc. Maybe its just me but I saw something completely different. All I see is someone who didnt finish college.. got his first big wallstreet job with no experience and admittedly was handed the job...lost said job...packed up and moved in with his friend the millionaire pro skater to sleep on his couch...was HANDED another job...by another friend....at a multi million dollar company.. quit that job...started a company whos biggest success came from ripping off a Nike shoe..which went out of business once they could no longer sell said shoe.. started his own company ..whos biggest product is ANOTHER RIP OFF..this time of a bag...Oh and also he "designed" a leather tie..a gold dog leash...and a piece of leather for douche bags to hold their 8$ latte in... Had he been raised in any other country in the world..he'd of starved long ago.. only in america ..land of nepotism and douche-baggery..Where a 42 year old man can use the word "dope" and dress like a 19 year old and no one thinks twice about it.

Having connections is half the battle. Keeping them and using them correctly is the other half. I️ respect the hustle however way he did it, he made his brand and it is what it is. Do I️ like the shoe? No , does it matter ? No Lol Is he a culture vulture ? I️ guess , but considering that’s what he grew up around even I️n rich Long Island. Apparently that was the culture there for the kids and he just used what he knew. Obviously he’s privileged he’s from white rich Long Island as he mentioned. Should you model your life after him? Fuck no you’re not him. It’s a great story and we can all take something from it.
